Agreed, for all his "faults" he's the type of player most teams would want, gives a 100%, not exactly Bobby Moore but always there and helps our younger players.
Unfortunately he has become an incessant target for an element of our support and no matter what he does it's not good enough.
One things for sure, if he goes we will have a big problem for the rest of the season.

Murray has concerns about Kelly and Baird too as he pointed out their deficiencies. One of the biggest jobs is to get them to communicate with each other during the game.
He believes, that under the current management team, he can improve both of these players and turn them into much better players.
He says that they will makes mistakes, but that's part of the learning process.

Frankly, given the way Thompson led the line today; winning everything in the air, holding the ball off until others got into place to receive it, scoring one, almost scoring 2 others (one only prevented by Cameron's hand ball on the line), all the time constantly talking to and encouraging and cajoling those around him, I can't see the need for his topic. I got my adult pre-ordered top in a size "L" which is the same size as I bought two seasons ago (I refused to buy last years and I also refuse to believe I am fatter than I was two years ago but I digress).

Just back from holiday and took my son into JD to collect the full kit that we had pre-ordered as a birthday surprise for him, having been sent two text messages that the order was in store. Socks and shorts were there but surprise, surprise, no top. The wee man did all he could do to stop bursting into tears.
Told it "should" be in next week but that we would probably be better asking for a refund as the chances were his head wouldn't fit through the neck hole anyway.

That is absolutley correct, everything takes longer.
I caught a wrinkle of testicle skin in the zip of my breeks over a week ago. Due to my dailly asprin intake my blood is somewhat thinner than the average adonis and as such it bled rather profusely. I had to discard a pair of trusted underpants due to the blood staining.
Anyway the blood enventually clotted on the fold of ruptured testicle skin, thus stopping the offending bleed. But has the cut healed in the last week? No, my right man sphere remains cut.
That said the Thommohawk is phsycally perfect and I am sure his muscles will heal just fine unlike my marbles.

Teale - sadly was unlikely to offer much as a player this season so Murray made the decision to release him.
Goodwin (original subject of the thread) - Still with a year on his contract, despite his age & flaws could still do a job for us in the Championship, don't see him getting another gig in the top flight so I expect him to be with us when the season starts. Certainly wouldn't pay him off!
Thompson - Played 13 of the last 14 games after recovering from injury and being rushed back prematurely by TC, worth a gamble if IM wants him. I know there was a lot of talk on the forum of him not trying last season but I reckon this can be put down to him not being fully fit, being rushed back too early on occasions and often being asked to play the full 90 minutes when a more gradual re-introduction would, IMO, have yielded better results.

The view was indeed wonderful, it was even better if you were on the Tile bar bus though.
Unfortunately we couldn't see any snow leopards, due to their camouflage. (this will not make sense to anyone who who does not sit to the rear of said bus)

For 5 years maintenance and upkeep has been skimped on until many areas look shabby and unfit
