I genuinely believe that the club should not even entertain a bidding process kicking off at a penny less than £750,000. To be honest, when you look at the potential the lad has, and then at some of the daft money that exchanges hands for mediocre players dahn saaf, he is probably worth more in the region of £1.5M.
I don't even want to think about him leaving, however. A player of his quality at our level will be very, very difficult to replace.

The way I speak about Rangers (I assume you're miffed at MY post?) is an adult way. Unlike many infantile fantasists, I accept that Rangers went into administration and D+P are administering the Liquidation coup de grace.Rangers are dead. Sevco/RIFC/TRFC are hopeful of not following Rangers into Administration (which would be the cheapest/easiest way of again avoiding paying their debts).
I can't imagine why "Saints may very well find out to their cost next season that Rangers are very much alive, as as their fans", because as explained Rangers are dead, and I doubt that their reincarnation will be around and furthermore, if they are around they will be playing with the same budget as say, Johnstone Burgh.

I sometimes think that certain players are udermining the whole club, the team is not as good as many on here suggest, but where is the heart?
Is this what happens when ordinary players win a trophy? So wrapped up in the glory that the run-of-the-mill days become an unwelcome chore rather than an opportunityt excel? Are the players saying, "why should i listen to lennon-I'm a cup winning legend" Why do so few of them seem to care?
I am sure that i read a piece last year about how success unsettles the ordinary players and it is only the exceptional ones who can handle it

I might be shot down, but I would like us to stay up, and keep every single one of the current squad. I genuinely believe this group of players is a good group and with new direction from above, and better tactics, less fcuking about and shuffling square pegs into round holes, could be a different story altogether. Maybe some arses need booted, for sure it isn't all Danny's fault, but my goodness, this is a more than decent looking bunch.
I know it hasn't been all sweetness for Terry Butcher at Hibs, but I'd love to see him and Malpas kick arse and get this St Mirren squad going a bit.

In my opinion, changing management now would not increase our chances of staying up.
Danny Lennon is not the right manager for the club and he hasn't been since 2011 in my opinion, but it's too late to sack him this season.
If we do go down I want it on his CV, I don't want a patsy coming in and taking the hit for him.
