Thought he was having a brilliant game against Falkirk, we were cruising it, then Peter Grant snapped him in two how Grant didn't get sent off I have no idea. Then a couple of minutes later after getting back up McMullan got hit in the baws with the ball and walked off and that was the end of his Saints career.

To give the children the opportunity to wear their Heroes colours while, possibly out playing football while the weather is reasonable.
April, May , June, July August and September being ideal.
    It's nearly July.
When will Change Kit be available for the children to wear ?  Maybe inclement October & November.

Not for me. Plenty of potential a few years ago but very pedestrian and a bit of a shitebag. He's not better than either McGinn or Magennis and would be an expensive back up. We need cover for holding mid but I don't think Fyvie would fit the mould.

Tomorrow marks the first anniversary of Tams passing and as i will be in Arrochar i am posting this today. The past season has been very difficult without the wee man at my side but can i just thank the many St Mirren fans who at games have quite simply put a hand on my shoulder or a knowing nod in recognition. The fact his name is still chanted at games and the young player of the year award being named in his honour shows the high regard he was held within our support and has helped Mary,Steven and the girls come to terms with their loss. Please remember them in your thoughts and prayers.
I humbly ask that you take time out and raise a glass or 2 to remember Tam who was quite simply the greatest guy i have ever known.
We,re on our way Tam We,re on our way.

I asked the club last week. Waiting on all the stuff coming through from Joma. No dates given I'm afraid.
And no, I haven't seen the new kits!

I'd say we do need 2 full time keepers, and a third as backup. I'll use Raith Rovers as the example for my reasoning. All be it, the chances of having all three registered keepers injured at the same time are slim, I'd rather be looking at them than for them.

Can you believe that one of our players played in the first ever win over Brazil at any level. So proud of him and he was outstanding in the first half.He had a strain in the second half and had to be replaced.Pleased to say a large number of family members were there to witness the game.

I think wanting Alloa up rather than Brechin wasn't based on relative strengths or finances of each club. It was because Alloa are managed by a St Mirren cup winning legend, and he's trying to do well with a part-time team. It would have been nice for us to play Alloa and give Goody a song or two. Alloa is also a lot nearer than Brechin, a doddle to get to, just over the Kincardine Bridge.
I think I've pretty much nailed it why a lot of us wanted Alloa - Jim Goodwin, and it's nearer.

Well I can say for certain that this Jersey Buddie (and I think I can speak for Jimmy H too) will be attending many more games next season than we did this.
Shame Easyjet don't do gold cards!
I moved to Jersey 31 years ago. My last game before I left was a 4-1 Scottish Cup defeat at Tynecastle the weekend before. When I came here I vowed that I would make it to at least 6 games a season. I kept this up for about 15 years until about 2001 when I started following Scotland to away games. Something had to give and my visits to watch the Buds dropped to one or two games a season. After the Levein debacle in Prague I vowed that my Scotland away days were over, but to be honest it's been a pretty lean time for being a Buds fan as well (league cup aside of course!) and my visits still didn't increase from the 1 or 2 a season and even then, more through duty than desire.
In all of those 31 years, this season was shaping up to be the first that I hadn't attended a single game. Then Jimmy H and I came up for the Irn Bru cup final. Not only did we have a ball but even though we didn't win I was so impressed by the team and even more so the fans. It was the best atmosphere I had been part of as a St. Mirren fan since 1987. For me it was even better than 2013.
After that day there was no way I was letting the season end without attending another game. I could think of no better game than the last game against Hibs and what a day it was.
I'm now 51 years old and thought I had finally turned into one of those cynical, bitter auld feckers I detested so much when I was a rosy cheeked optimistic teenager.
Thank you to JR and the team for restoring my passion and for ensuring that I will be at the very least reinstating my old vow from when I left all those years ago.

I take your point that software is improved rapidly once users start using it. But not being able to access the seat plan is a bit basic I would think.

Several people on here over the years have been slagging off the youth academy at St Mirren but they haven't done too badly for the club recently.

We must have made £750k from the sale of Kenny McLean, John McGinn, Kyle McCallister and Stevie Mallan.

Plus we have Baird, Morgan and McGennis playing regularly and contributing to the first team with more coming through the ranks.

Well done to all the coaches and staff behind the scenes at the youth academy. Keep up the good work!

I have never seen such a consistently talented striker of a ball than young stevie Mallan. A great number of his free kicks were sensational and right up there with best goals seen scored by a St Mirren player. A true pleasure to have seen him play for the buddies in the last few years.

I don't think I will see his likes again and I think as supporters we won't realise just how brilliant a player he was until he has gone, as is almost always the case.

I think in time Stevie will make a success of his move to England and long term have a very good career. Young Lappin was a talented youngster, not as much as stevie though, and he went to England and made quite a bit of money in his time there. Didn't play much at Norwich but came back north after making quite a tidy living for a few years. I think Mallan has got more to his game and will do reasonably well in England.

It's fair to say that Barnsley have got a bit of a bargain.

I wish Stevie Mallan all the very best and will watch his career with interest. Good luck Stevie!
