I had a hospital appt yesterday and NHS messed it up and booked me into Inverclyde by accident. (Wid a feck)

I decided to piss about paisley before going back to work and i popped down to the stadium to get my season ticket sorted.

Went back to work and my gaffer said "did u get a good seat"

I forgot i said "gaffer keep an eye on my emails for a cppl hours while im at the hospital and i gave the ticket office my work email to send the confirmation.

    Lesson learned Paul ya bellend

Remember first seeing him as a 16 year old playing in the u20s. He was so slim his top was to big for him. But sitting with Skodasaint and Burnsy we all said the same thing. this tiny skinny kid has something. He had blistering pace and we loved watching him in the u20s. And I was at a Dumbarton game last year and Lewis dad tap me on the shoulder and introduced himself. He said Lewis would like to give you his shirt at the end of the season. I asked why. He said as a thank you for supporting and encouraging him in the u20s. as you can imagine i was delighted and true to his word I met up with Lewis in the supporters club and gave me his shirt . I'm a massive fan of his and were ever he plays I always will be. he's a credit to the club and his family. Lewis thanks for the great memories. Coys

He will need to get himself a pair of boots for next season as he pretty much strolled through games in his slippers smoking a pipe once he got fit.

While we freely admit to being mid-Championship status these days, we are still a big draw for many, hence the 100+ applications received so far.
You've answered your own question though there really as you go on to talk about JR's relative lack of experience. So why would he be deserving of a bigger club? Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he's not a very good prospect, more that I think we have more value than you perhaps suspect.
Leeds may have more money than us but they're a complete basket-case club. He'd be handed a two-year contract there and depart within six months. Now that's how you'd ruin this guy's career. We've only had 15 managers in 80 something years; you'll always get the chance to prove yourself at Portman Road, for better or for worse sometimes!
Same applies to Sunderland. They are in League One, need a huge clear out and their performances/morale could not be lower. How you would find that a better fit than Ipswich honestly baffles me.

I too would like to know the cost for OF games before deciding whether the family stand is getting binned in favour of the West

    Agreed on the last part.
However, he played an important part over the past 18 months, particularly last season in the run-in.
Think most folk have a soft spot for him as he was a bit of a character, loved winding other players up and let's be honest, should realistically have been absolutely shite given that we recruited him through the much-mocked LinkedIn advertisement, instead, he turned out to be the very embodiment of what makes a bit of a cult hero in football.
It's not so much folk saying fawning over him and saying 'he was great, we should be keeping him' as it is 'he was great for what we needed at that time'. Which he was.

They will be on 10 year deals once they speak to and reject first Charlton and then Ipswich. By the time they speak to West Brom they will be tied to Saints for life on just short of the money Cheesy used to earn.

Online ticket shite now saying no seats left. Possibly W 6 & 7?
This will be where we see if the ST holders who have moved from w1-5 to 6-7  have their other seats filled, or if the club fails to maximise the number of people in the West stand and loses out on potential revenue
  17. Thanks

    top club, not clubs.
10 of Reilly's goals this season have been against lower league opposition
Now, don't me wrong, I'm not saying that Reilly isn't effective. I think he's been great this season.
My original point was in relation to the poster who stated that Reilly's goals haven't been replaced since he was benched.
In actual fact, our goals per game average has gone UP since Reilly was benched.
And a more meaningful comparison of the goal scoring potential of Reilly v Mullen is that Mullen has 6 league goals in 17 starts (the majority with an inferior side) while Reilly has 11 in 25 starts (all with the superior side).
Mullen is a decent enough replacement for Reilly IMO based on the stats (which cant talk and cant lie apparently!)

Mullen will win more in the air than Sutton and put himself about more. For his size Sutton should be hugely more effective.

Reilly has also scored more against diddy teams in diddy cups and then Lothian Thistle.
What we perhaps need is better service and quality of delivery to them when they are in and around the box.  United sat the two baldy thugs deep and negated the space  where Smith picks the ball up and runs into on Tuesday night.
29 tickets showing on website now, has W6/7 sold out?

As soon as the date for this game was announced, I knew it was destiny that we'd win the league in Dundee. Not just because this team and manager deserve to emulate Fergies Furies, but, on a personal level, Tuesday is the fifteenth anniversary of my mum's death, who took me to my first ever game.
I'm telling you, there are wider forces at work...
