The problem for Dennis was a lack of pre-season I think, so he's been playing catch up on match fitness.
He does look like a hell of a find.
The work rate is fabulous and he's not the only one.
Every player on that pitch today left everything out there.
When was the last time we played Rangers twice and Celtic once and both teams gave our goalie almost nothing to do across all 3 games?

We played well all the way through it , got behind the ball and got the foot in , the two goals were fantastic .Didn’t think we had a snowballs chance in hell when I seen that lineup but get these kids in there COYS.

Sorry to see Sam Foley go. But it felt like that news was coming. Great guy. Great player. Unbelievable work rate. Hope he gets a decent club. Massive thanks Sam. One of the main reasons we stayed up last year.

IMO you'd be wrong to assume as it's 2021 and there's various means to WATCH this possibly historic match.
    Enjoy the wireless.

Strange folk finally snapping with Erwin today as I thought he linked play pretty well today especially when coming deeper 2nd half with the changes Jim made. Before the hour mark we could have played without a striker really. Two chances created and they fell to Fraser and Erharon. I still think Obika is the better option but today for me Erwin did ok.

I think compared to what we had been used to last couple of months today was disappointing. The massive positive is this squad has bags of character and we score plenty late goals and win a lot of points from losing positions. That in itself is a huge improvement on previous seasons. Today we didn't play well but we dug in and earned our point. To say it was an enjoyable watch though is stretching things a bit.

    Lots of slack passes today.
Most disappointed I've been with Fraser.  Not a good game from him.  Ethan could have gone off earlier.  Looked knackered and his passing was suffering from that, too.
Erwin today was maybe not as bad as i usually think he is.  He did hold the ball a few times -as Obika does.
It's the slipshod passing that creates problems for themselves that I find insufferable.

If that's true then I'm genuinely gutted by that. Really wanted him to succeed. His effort was always 100% and I respect that from any player.

Doyle Hayes on a new contract is the most important signing of January we could make, a serious player, glides through games and makes it look easy.

Totally agree 100%  Tait should be available according to Jim. Not sure if i'm in the minority or not but I've not been impressed with Mason in defence or going forward,

Made the pass to Connolly for the penalty.
Intercepted a pass from a blue bigot breakaway, which went to Erhahon, who passed to Connolly to set up the second goal.
Intercepted blue bigot clearance and passed to McGrath for his cross in for the third goal.
    Pleasing.

Aye and there a good few others in that camp too.
The whole Goodwin must Go was a complete joke from start to finish, lets hope a few people have learned a lesson but I doubt it.

I have openly criticised the appointment of Jim Goodwin as manager but I have to say, I'm beginning to question my opinion given recent results and last night's performance. He got his tactics bang on and, though the rangers had a lot of possession, they rarely troubled our keeper. He almost nullified Tavernier and we we were more than a match in midfield. One result against the @rse cheeks may not be cause for mayhem but we have now went into double figures of unbeaten so it's clear Goodie's obviously doing something right.

He’s turned out to be a great wee signing. In fact, all the Irish boys are fitting in well.

McGrath is turning into the player I hoped he’d be also. McCarthy has been solid at the back and Connolly causes teams problems too.
Wouldn’t mind raiding the league for a goal scorer too.....

Well there has. Last season was one of them 🤣
Going through the league cup group stage unbeaten itself was an achievement given our record in that competition since we won it.
The fact we have also went five unbeaten against top flight teams at the same time, and four of those games were against teams who finished in the top five last year, is quite something.
It’s a remarkable run of form and the management and players deserve full credit.

To be fair, last season we weren't too bad at all given circumstances. We stayed clear of bottom spot almost the whole time despite the squad build being very last minute what with the Kearney plans being thrown out the window and Goodwin had to learn a lot of hard lessons early on.
This season has been disappointing to say the least in an attacking sense but we're a lot better in every other department. Probably even top 5 or 6 quality outwith the forwards, the defensive record attests to that, only Celtic, Rangers and Hibs are better if you discount the phantom goals and half of the 16 we've ACTUALLY conceded came against those three sides.
Some of the managers tactical decisions have been baffling and  the natural tendancy of the side to retreat into their shells for the second half of games is frustrating as feck but I'm hoping that he is learning from these errors.
I was one of those who said a few weeks ago that the heat was massively on Goodwin to either make or break his time here and credit to him and the squad, they've been performing when the pressure has been ramped up.

    Indeed.
A settled team, with no disruptions to training and affected players recovering from illness.
The acquisition of Doyle-Hayes and Mason, has helped greatly too.

The only person who is consistently aggressive on here is yourself.
You did it as gstretch, you did it as ice-tears and you're still doing it.
As I've said before, there is absolutely no danger that you conduct yourself towards other supporters at matches (when we could go) in the way you do on here as you'd have found a lot of trouble very quickly, so it's actually you who's playing the keyboard hard man.
