He needs the right players in there with him. Willock is a must pick for me, purely down to the fact that he’s our only physical midfield player. How he was dropped for Flynn last night is beyond me.

Magennis is getting welcomed back with open arms.

Anton Ferdinand looks more of a captain than McGinn at the moment. I believe McGinn lost a bit of respect in the dressing room for publicly slating a few of his team mates
 

Left after 60mins . I couldn't watch anymore. Absolutely diabolical. No passing. No tackling. No closing down. No shots at goal. No fight. No desire. Pitifully painful to watch. P. McGinn and Hodson playing the same side of the park. High balls to 2 small players upfront. It's a utter joke.

This is horrific so far. Don’t even remotely look like scoring.

Really hope we don’t go with mcpherson right back and mcginn center back today.

Worth giving jones a shot as that change has went badly on 2 occasions already.

What an absolute kick in the balls again.

Absolutely no chance were either official 100% sure that ball was over the line. Should never have been given.

Goal chopped off later was just as bad.

What an absolutely horrific season this is turning out to be.

Shout outs to Baird, Willock and Jackson. Good first half. Just about everybody faded in the second.

That's not nearly as bad as feared. Not great, but could certainly be a lot worse.

I don't really have a problem with Stubbs deciding guys like Eckersley and Mackenzie aren't good enough. They're likeable guys and they played a role in us winning the league by a mile last season, but if the manager decides they're not good enough for the top league then so be it.

The problem was that Stubbs decided they weren't good enough then brought in replacements that were clearly much worse, likely resulting in the remaining players from last season realising he was clueless and had no eye for a player capable at this level.

For sheer joy, Sutton's winner during The Great Escape. Right in front of the fans, peels away from the crowd of bodies as if he already knows where the second ball is landing...and that volley smashing the roof of the net. The insanity that followed in the away end. Stunning.

Can’t see the starting 11 changing from Friday but we need different attacking options on the bench.

Don’t know what the score is with NBM but he gives us a bit of height up front, I’d like to see him on the bench at least. I’d imagine we’d be going a bit more direct tomorrow with that horrendous surface in mind.
