There's four or five us that go for a few drinks in the west end before every home game.
We've been saying for a while it would be great if the club had a bar that was open for the fans before home games and some of the money we spend anyway could go to the club. Inverness, Killie and St Johnstone all have bars in their stadiums that are open for home and away fans and if we had similar we'd go there before every home game instead of an outside pub.
As good as the intentions of this is, we certainly aren't interested in paying such an extortionate subscription. Pity!

And if it makes a loss?Remind us of how much profit you generated with your tent?
I fully expect 300 members to support this but that won't garuantee a success. It will be half full most weeks.
Great idea, terrible subscription and entry structure.
Maybe get a reply this time? Communication stream with the fans?

I pay a pretty hefty price every year in my golf club fees.... but I can sign guests in and bring a mate to the club.
Sorry, I'm out. Purely a personal view, but when I harboured hopes of a supporter's bar being created in the void, I didn't envisage a 300 strong members only club.
No offence to the Fan Council because I can see what they are trying to do, but this just doesn't sit right with me.

We had a good upturn in form at the end of last season when it mattered. Wasn't enough to keep the manager in a job. Don't see why winning games when it doesn't matter after some horrific results should keep the current manager in a job.

Over 700 fans travelled to watch a team certainties for relegation. These players should be ashamed. They have represented our famous club without an ounce of fight. Being a St Mirren fan will always bring it's ups and downs, it's the continued capitulation of this group of players that's the hardest thing to take. We need to get a Manager and players with some fire in the belly. Coming away from a defeat when your team has given it's all is painful but acceptable. This crop of wasters need shifted now, hardly a trier amongst them ( thommo excluded and I suspect he has either a persistent injury or knows more about the behind closed doors goings on and it has affected his play)

Went to the game today expecting a bit of a dead rubber, haven't even thought about the football all week but found myself celebrating that first goal and became increasingly desperate for us to pull it back to 7 points.
I do think we needed a performance like this a while back to rejuvenate the players and fans for the run in. For whatever this result is worth come the end of the season, were up until were down and i'll continue to hold onto whatever glimmer of hope we have. If anything it makes next weeks round of fixtures interesting.
If we go into that Motherwell game within touching distance......

Calderwood would be the perfect fit for a club already getting tanned every week.

I'd give it to Kenny McLean. He's the best player to play for St. Mirren this season. Nobody else has come close to giving us what he did. Give him young player of the year as well.

We all know this season has been an epic disappointment for many reasons, both in terms of results on the park and decisions made off it. But ultimately when the players walk out at Motherwell tomorrow and against Ross County on Monday, that doesn't matter - all that does is them getting the points we need to keep ourselves in with a chance of survival.
We all know what is at stake and what the likely cost of relegation will be - cuts on and off the park and a scaling back of our excellent youth academy which does so much good for the club and community. Paisley needs and deserves a top-league football team but it could be a long time until it has one again if the club goes down now.
So SMiSA is issuing a rallying call to all fans to get themselves through to Fir Park on Tuesday night and put on a show of support for the team.
In seasons gone by St Mirren have often been at their best when faced with a do-or-die relegation game. Gus MacPherson once talked about how the incredible atmosphere created by the fans pre-match at Falkirk in 2009 inspired the players to the outstanding performance and victory that followed, so don't think for a second that you can't make a difference.
And nobody will ever forget what happened at Fir Park in 2007 on a day when everything looked lost.
Everybody could see the levels of workrate and commitment from the players on Friday night against Celtic, and there was quality on show too. So let's show our young team that we are with them every step of the way and none of us are going down without a fight
If you weren't planning on doing so already, get yourself through to Motherwell tomorrow night and make some noise in support of our team. Get there early, get ready to roar the team on to a result, and get this post shared so others can do the same.

It's soul destroying stuff this season.
I would say this is undoubtedly one of the weakest top flights in my lifetime and we are finding ourselves rapidly falling out it without so much as a whimper.
Two incredibly ridiculous appointments as managers in the one season is unbelievable. Craig should have been punted long before AGM but board defended him to the hill at AGM but sacked him within weeks. It was obvious within weeks of the season starting that Tommy Craig as manager was a disaster. He should never have been offered the job.
TC and Teale can't be blamed for everything as they were both offered the job but should never have been offered it. Madness!
The sale of Mclean was just so unnecessary given the perilous predicament we were facing. He could have stayed on for 3 months, gentleman's agreement or not, and still got a big move. Chat of 'he fulfilled his end of the bargain' etc were nonsense. Playing well for 6 weeks of thr first 4 months and thats ok jack. We were in the shit and we needed everything we could. Mclean should have been told 'keep it up from now til May and it will be the championship abd £6-£10k a week you will get and not £3k a week at Aberdeen'. Massive opportunity missed. :-(
