Looks like nothing's happening yet , as Baccus is with the squad in Belfast !

I have seen some rumours flying about, re the GK situation , I read them but don't really believe them. However , one rumour last week had Carson leaving ( I know he signed a new contract recently) and a GK coming in on loan from the English championship (not Alnwick)

The biggest crime, was the school football team wearing Celtic strips. 

Was in St Aeldreds too when he was there but he was never my teacher, {So no wise cracks}  but everyone knew him, and as I remember he seemed very popular, and was very much liked as far as teachers went..  there was definitely rumours kicking around the school he was a poof as was the slogan back then,  I never gave that much thought as I never had any contact with him.   
Well none that I'm willing to admit too  

It's interesting , because by agreeing an option to buy , we will have first shout on him.  Meaning , if he tears this league up and the OF or any English Championship club try to pinch him, as usual , we'll be holding the cards !

Spot on Chris , I'm glad we lived through the period where the difference between the top of Scottish football and the peak of the English game was minimal. Big G played for us  in 72/73 against Stranraer , Stirling , Brechin and Berwick , and played in a European Final v AC Milan the same season.  

A true talent and a true gent...

I still think his career has been a little "bitty" though.  I know he'll probably not start every game but he's not contributed as much as I expected of him when he signed with us that's all.
ETA, his "career" with us I meant.

Europe , for me , would have been a step too far too soon , we need to concentrate on consolidating next season and an early , fruitless European campaign would have stretched the squad unnecessarily.

Small is 18 years old , he got nutmegged a minute before , and the red mist came down . FWIW I think he's got a big future in England , when he was out on loan last year he was described as "not strong enough" , he's bulked up since then , and with a calmer head growing up , I'm sure he'll be fine , Miovski's a diving , bleating cheat anyway !
