Silly to be throwing in the towel at this stage. 50% of the games we have left are against the three teams around us.
    The 10 games we have left are most likely going to be;
    Motherwell (H&A)
    County (H&A)
    Partick (H)
    Kilmarnock (H&A)
    Dundee (A)
    St.Johnstone (A)
    Celtic (H)
Aside from Celtic at home I don't see any reason why we can't pick up points in any of the other 9 games there.
It's going to be very tight but it's important that we remain positive and behind the team.

Yo! Let me hear you say ay-oh!On Greenhill Road, saw myself some vinyl,
I said yo' bitch! Is that shit final,
Stuck it up, took the grey away,
The HoF boards wait yet another day.
    Ah-oh! Do the vinyl rap,
This season has been fcuking crap....
Have I got this idea right? It's been a while since I've been 'down with the kids'.

I have read the stuff on the forum for years and never previously posted on any topic but I feel really strongly about this so here goes :
"If I could change one thing about our new stadium it would be the facilities for wheelchair users and others with limited mobility who sit in the front of the stand and take an absolute soaking on any wet day. This is a disgrace and surely more important than video screens and other non-essentials.
On the next wet day just take a minute and look at the folk in front row sitting in capes and all other kinds of wet-weather gear getting drenched. I admire their dedication to watching their team and do not feel that they are being treated with respect or consideration"
I would end my wee rant by inviting one of the directors to come and try it on the next day that it is pouring with rain. If it is wet this Saturday against Accies this would be a nice gesture and an indication that the support of some really loyal fans is not just taken for granted.

Working on a ship and owning my own boat where I did a navigation course it amazes me how a commercial ship can run aground. Every ship still plans it's course and marks by pencil on a ships paper chart which gives you depths both tide out and in. Then you have all the elictornic whistles and bells going off when shallow water is detected. Even my own wee boat has a an alarm that goes off at 5 meters. So it really comes down to negligence of the highest order.
On a diffrent note , the UK is one of the few countries in Europe where you do not need a license to own a boat. Many people who own power boats have no idea what boys & cardinals mean and what is the proper channel for passing other boats. Going into Tarbet Argyle can be tricky with it's shallow waters and rocky islands. A few years ago a father and son were killed when their speed boat blow up on impact when it hit shallow rocks. A woman lost all her front teeth and broke her jaw when her husband hit rocks on shallow water just off Ardine Point. The sea bed is just like land with hills and rocky mountains. It's mental we don't need a sailing license in this country You even see people on leisure craft not wearing life jackets.

Not only was the question asked, but the melody was also revisited in the car on the way back up the M8!

Swearing and general insulting of opposition players and fans, or indeed the team of four random decision makers has been a staple of Scottish football since I can remember. Some fans are very successful at it; they almost turn it into an art form, and for me add to the occasion. Others unfortunately just appear to repeatedly empty their whole sweary vocabulary. Fail!
I certainly remember the conversations on the way home after the games when my daughter was still of primary school age; not many were about the game!
"Why was that man so angry?"
"Why did the Policeman not give these boys a row?"
"Why is Hugh Scott a wa**er?" etc.
Having said that I'm partial to the odd outburst myself, none of it premeditated; I just become conscious that all of a sudden I'm in mid air and offering advice to someone....sorry.

Just wanted to say I thought Jim Goodwin was right on it today. Cleared his lines, won headers, thundered through Imrie cleanly, never put a foot wrong. He really does seem to have stopped the snide elbows and shit, and referees are pretty much treating him as just another player now, and Jim is doing a grand job in just playing his game and not attracting attention. Long may it continue.

The tackle at Firhill did him. Was a shocker too.
He's a good player, injury prone yes, but a very decent midfielder.

Got to laugh. As I said, I've made mention a few times on this forum about stories in the papers and how I wouldn't even wipe my arse with a newspaper, and I've also went off on one a couple of times about airport white taxi drivers being complete and utter Neil Doncasters... Now, a double whammy in one story!
    Cnuts!

I have a thread running in General Nonsense where I have been posting images to highlight the great architecture of Paisley so I do believe my hometown has something great to offer.
I am frustrated by the Council who in my humble opinion have done their damnest over the last 40 years to rip the heart out of what was once a great town of amazing architecture, philanthropists, and people. Great buildings were left to rot and monstrosities like the Piazza were built. As a University town there is little cultural life. The world famous Paisley Pattern is almost impossible to find in Paisley. I could go on at some length about the town's current failings considering the potential it has.
However the comments made about Edinburgh were made by the student whom I referred to. They absolutely loved their year spent in the capital. Whereas the student who stayed in Paisley hated it. Not my words but theirs.

    Paisley is a shitehole
Has social problems and high unemployment
Our fans don't sing much, but do swear a lot
    We are passionate
We place football above most other things in our lives
Scottish football is fast and brutal
He broke his nose a few times
He wants a new challenge as he's sick of getting booted around
    Tynecastle is a good ground
    Ours is shite
