FFS, this thread is a mixture of absolute shite mixed in with knickerwetters galore. New pants definitely required for thread.
We’ve shipped out lots of deadwood. We’ve brought in 8 players. Most of these are improvements on what we had. January is a tough month to work in, with fewer options compared to the summer when you can pick up players on pre-contracts. In January you need to rely on players agreeing to “mutual consent” before they are available, or picking them up on loan.
Calm the pee flow, let’s see if we do bring in any free agents (the last four weren’t too bad, no?) and let’s see if this team start to pick up some results. We have a better team now than we did at the start of the month, and once some of the injured return we’ll have our bench filling up with options too (unlike the Hibs match).

I've just realised that most of the arguing on this thread is between two teetotallers (try saying that when you've had a few). Solution: Ricky and Shul should get pished and then they'll become best pals. You're welcome.

Would rather we had the right players in by 1st February than we rush into deals for the sake of having more players in for two league games in January. If we're still lacking the players we need at the start of next month, I'll panic. Until then I'll keep calm.

Jack had one target in Jan 2017 and that was to keep us in the League. He signed the players that done that. Let's hope OK can replicate that feat.

Fair enough Ricky. Maybe I've been affected by the constant petty arguments that are all over the forum just now. Anyhoo, my nephew is very excited at the prospect of attending his 3rd ever Saints game tomorrow. KTF

Stephen is as good a player as we have.  I wouldn't want to write him off. 

I enjoy a few pints before and after the fitba and would have a pint at my seat at the game if that was allowed. It never will be tho. The idea of trying to tan a pint in 5 minutes at half time after queuing for 10 mins sounds awful
