You mate are out of order. No matter Mark's limitations, he gives 100% and loves the club. The lad is injured and we should support any injured player and not, as you are doing, firing cheap shots and coming over as a bitter and sad person. Your vitriole will not lead to TC getting rid of Cheesy. In fact, I will leave the judgement of how good Cheesy is to the manager who I am sure is a better judge. If you want to see a class centre half or central defender then go to the Etihad instead.

I think though we could be clear of the relegation fight very early if we can bring in a couple of good signings and keep Thompson fit.

Same predictive comments from the usual forum clowns. If we win, lose or draw pre season games it means absolutely nothing. These games are about fitness and sharpness and trying different things out. The most worrying thing going into the season was squad depth and TC is sorting this just now.
I've said before that our starting 11 is as good as teams like Thistle, Dundee, Killie, County, Hamilton And can compete with any other side outside Celtic. When injuries etc kick in I would be worried slightly but getting guys like Tess offer good cover as he can play anywhere on the left.

Aye, I'd like to see some back up for right back. Preferably a right sided defender that can play right back and centre half. Think Williams played there in one of the pre-season games but I'm not sure, haven't been to any yet.

I genuinely don't understand why anybody is moaning about this! A model pro who is still young, did well for us first time round, and it adds to the depth of the squad - something we're forever moaning about! He can play a few different positions, and isn't bad coming forward either.
What's to moan about?!?

We have Tess, Cheese, Plummer, Naismith and Goodwin who can all play centre back.
I'd love another quality centre half, I'm sure all the other clubs around us would also.

We won the cup with Goodwin playing at centre half and the boy Williams will seemingly make good back up aswel.

He's a versatile, experienced defender who can play left back and centre back.
I'm happy with this signing, he knows the league, we know him, and I think he will do well for us.... Again.

I expect Tess, along with Plummer, to be competing for central defence. Yes, both can play left back, but they're also versatile. Might even see Yaqub loaned out, which wouldn't be a bad thing.

Seemed very comfortable at centre half any time I watched him. I'm glad to see him back. Consistent performer, plays anywhere across the back, plenty of experience, won't be costing the earth. Good signing.
