Now how do you know it was ever missing,?  You don't consider that the money may have already been accounted for and the investigation is focussing on whether the actual use was within the powers of the office bearers?

Norrie has done very well and is at the limit of where his game can take him.  He will either be content to carry on making a very good living or take some time out  to reconstruct the parts of his game that limit his progress in the hope he can be a contender.

Lochwinnoch Saint is a great guy and fondly remembered on the Forum. He was disgracefully abused and bullied by Toxic Titch from Arbroath. Titch continues to ridicule St Mirren supporters on this forum.

the club was supposedly all but 100% fan owned when he actually JOINED the board for the first time.  Some people who were not fans inherited shares they decided to keep for family reasons, I know several people in that position.
SMISA bought their shares from the previous major shareholders, etc, as well as the piecemeal collection of shares over the years.
I sold my Honda last year, does that mean I delivered transportation for the masses or did i simply sell a Honda?

    How about,
a crane operator forgetting to insert the pin that locks the boom before lifting-a man lost his leg from the knee down as a result of being trapped in the collapse but was back at work 2 months later!  He did himself out of a lifetime of wages as his compensation because he thought he would be greedy taking more than the standard £150k that the company insurance coughed up a cage hoist designed to take 2 men up a wind turbine being used by 2 standing on top and 2 standing inside as they tied off the cabling  around a dozen men getting inside a wind-turbine nacelle (the big box on the top with the sides open) so they can be lifted 90 metres to the top by the cranes a man climbing a wind turbine (90m) with around 60kg of cabling tied to a harness around his waist because he couln't be arsed waiting for the chain hoist to be commissioned a man who swam around the final water tank in a sewage works for a £5 bet, and who then accepted a tenner for swimming in the raw sewage settling tank a man who went looking for a (odourless) nitrogen leak by trying to sniff it out in a wee kiosk in a petrochem plant, luckily when he clinically died for a few seconds from lack of oxygen he collapsed and his head landed just outside the box and the impact caused an exhale/inhale effect that gave him one more breath and brought him back.  He wasn't fecking right after it though. apprentices who used to melt ladles of lead and then throw it at each other, one guy's boiler suit went up in flames as they had also filled his pocket with oxygen when he wasn't looking and we had to roll him on the workshop floor to extinguish his ovies. a wee dog was carried off by a large bird of prey that had been brought in by a man who had the contract to keep seagulls away from the sand filters in a water treatment works Maybe I should write my memoirs of a life in H&S, coz there is a whole lot more.

And potentially, another well-known and possibly well-run club drops in to obscurity to accommodate the random ego trip vehicle that Wrexham is
Everyone gets excited about a journey that is really only about money.  That's entertainment!

They might get it to the premiership and then sell-off to a saudi or qatari group
As a health & safety manager I was disgusted by the determination of the investigating officer to get a charge in against the poor guy who caused the fire.  I was glad the guy was not charged and surprised the crown let it lie rather than going after the factory manager.  A vindictive police officer spent a fortune in public money chasing what she thought was an easy charge against a minor player in the event
And that burn-test they did in the lab was particularly unscientific.  also there was no consideration that the fire might have been started by stray sparks from the lighter the guy used.
All down to a ridiculously high level of risk tolerance by the company and historically accepted poor practice.  God knows why they banned smoking in there when the key method of classifying a plastic was to set fire to the damn thing
I wasn't flabbergasted, I have seen many examples of craziness that eclipse what was shown in that programme.

The squad looked just about big enough last year, but it became evident that there was no resilience to injury and suspensions so with hindsight we were 3 x 1st picks short of a side last year.  I am thinking that the new contracts for Flynn and Shaughnessy are as much to get fees for them if they end up moving.
It is all very well signing "improvers", as long as there is time to rebuild their games,  a gamble we probably have to take but not one I am happy with.
As for Watt, he was a Utd player on loan to us and is he not contracted to them anyway?  Even so, if he can't get his fitness sorted with a full close season then I am afraid it is downhill for him from here on in.

I bought a Sharp music centre from them around 79-ish.  It was broken but they couldn't refund me until they had sold an item of similar value for cash.  I heard they did most of their business on HP and that is why they couldn't do an instant refund.  They must have closed around 1980-81

My thoughts entirely, there are some who would say this squad will be contending for a better finish next season with only a few tweaks without considering the impact this season of at least one player who is moving on and the fact that we seriously ran out of steam despite the extra world-cup break, the squad needs to be bigger in quality, physically and in numbers .  The icing on the cake for me this season would have been a deeper run in the league cup.
If the coaches & scouts are doing their job better right now than they did last season (too many bad gambles in last year's crop) then we will have some better players in key positions who are also in their prime and signed up on 2 year contracts before the middle of next month (3 weeks away), that is what will deliver a better top 6 finish and a Euro place that we can credibly compete in, at least in the early stages.
I would love us to steal Armstrong away from Killie, even though it would cost a few bob.  He is very strong, competitive and quite skilfull.  No point in signing better strikers if the service is not vastly improved.

Great season to be a Saints fan, for me the biggest + has been that for the last few years we have visibly improved each year, if we can keep it up then crowds will continue to increase and it will be once again fun to watch and be a saints fan after lets face it many many hard years.

    Highlights,
Top 6 and flirting with qualifying for Europe.
Robinson's turnaround  from a disastrous pre-season that would have embarrassed Alan Stubbs.
Whoever scouted Ryan Strain and Keanu Baccus.
    Lowlights,
    Pre-season and League Cup performances.
Umpteen winnable league games tossed away because of (mainly needless) red cards. Are you paying attention Charles Dunne, Thierry Small ???
Ayunga's season-ending injury just as he was starting to make a serious impact.

It was hardly cutting to the bone and was replied to by the individual involved, seemingly to his own liking
Not worth the rest of us getting involved, especially as the tit-for-tat between the two tatty tits arises on both sides
I do realise that i got involved, before anyone else gets involved.  so don't point it out.

It is in our hands, you can expect Celtic to win and if we beat Aberdeen and Rangers then 5th place is ours.  I'm not sure we are really ready for Europe yet and we have seen before how saints have imploded after a successful season, so there are definite pros & cons about that euro place.  The extra prize money would definitely help us to disrupt the top 6 again next season
