lovestreet Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 Not a hope in hell,go down and then liquidated perfect end. Quote
shull Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 New Manager, reach play off, get promoted , Ross County relegated. Quote
scottd Posted November 23, 2013 Report Posted November 23, 2013 Hope they get promoted. Might do next season, as long as the players keep clear of William Hill. Quote
Dirty Sanchez Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 (edited) They've been getting shocking crowds as well. When I've spoken to Morton fans over the years, it's amazing how often their delusions of grandeur about their supposed massive support come to the surface. A laughable assertion that just doesn't stand up to scrutiny. We haven't had average gates like the ones they're getting now since the 19th century. And that's a fact. gudmunder Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 I've a feeling Gus McPherson will be their next manager. Let's hope so, it would mean kissing goodbye to any hopes of promotion and the great unwashed would be entertained by his swash buckling attacking style of football Quote
BuddieinEK Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 Might do next season, as long as the players keep clear of William Hill. what are the odds on that? Quote
lovestreet Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 Let them suffer before they go bust Quote
faraway saint Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 What league are Morton in? Quote
RickMcD Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 Hardly a surprise but bearing in mind they were contenders for promotion until late in the season it is a mighty collapse. Did they have to offload most of last season's team? Quote
oaksoft Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 I've a feeling Gus McPherson will be their next manager. That's who I would go for. He'll get them up if he has a decent budget to play with. Quote
Hambud Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 New Manager, reach play off, get promoted , Ross County relegated.financially that would be great. Quote
rabuddies Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 You know, it must be my age but Morton don't mean a thing to me "derby" wise. When I wer' a lad it was Killie that were our rivals except for a short period in the mid-60's. Mind you, I hate derbies, mainly because the football takes second place to some form of tribalism that bring the morons out. Quote
jpg123 Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 Agent Imrie is doing his job. lol Quote
scottd Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 That's who I would go for. He'll get them up if he has a decent budget to play with. Anyone given a decent budget could make progress in the Championship. Morton would do well to steer well clear of MacPherson in my opinion. Quote

Kendo Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 Morton are in a similar position to where we were when Gus took over the managers job. Quote
faraway saint Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 Morton are in a similar position to where we were when Gus took over the managers job. He wouldn't be that lucky again. ;) Quote

faraway saint Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 Morton couldn't be that lucky you mean. Naw, Gus used all his luck with us, just ask QOS. Quote
Luther G. Presley Posted November 24, 2013 Report Posted November 24, 2013 He was also lucky to win the challenge cup, keep us in the SPL against the odds and get us to a major cup final! Quote
