I don't think he is the worst player in the world for us to be linked with and if he doesn't use up much of the wage budget he could turn into a useful player to have as cover. We need to realise we have little money, we live within our means, the chance of signing Ronaldo are "snowballs chance in hell" and we need to take whatever the management think is the answer rather than running down players, however remote that these players are going to sign. Maybe not the most skilful player in the world but, unfortunately, we play in a league where being big and quick goes a long way. I'd take him if he was going cheap. This would come in handy if we found ourselves in the position that St. Johnstone found themselves last weeks in the last minute. Probably suffered from not having a settled position or role similar to Div Barron. He has the experience that folk are moaning about and would be able to go straight into the team.
