Guest TPAFKATS
He'll just tell you that he made up a word too, and wasn't using Bluto's. Besides that, I don't think Bluto actually made up the word, he just used it in a totally different context and "redefined" it - and confused me a little into the bargain, as I've always thought that Pretendypence is play money, is it not? Like quantitative easing?

salmonbuddie
You're missing the point, bluto, I'm not saying it's not your word, I'm saying that StuD's use of it makes it tired and/or hackneyed. Seaside Nipper
This just shows how far Labour have fallen. The best candidate to lead The Scottish Branch Office appears to be a right wing Blairite, based in London. A man with no principles. A politician who has trousered tens of thousands from Westminster expenses and has been linked with scandal. Also, a leader who is going to oppose the Scottish government from afar. Remember when Labour had the likes of Donald Dewar, John Smith etc. Tragic fall into the political abyss, along with Cleggs charlatans. Roll on referendum 2 Hmm, yes, the velvet smooth talking superiority of wonderful Mr Murphy, don't you just love it....................He talks like he is addressing a group of five year olds, a truly perfect charicature of modern politicians..oh.......................... wait a minute Seriously , this guy in charge of Labour in Scotland, surley not. By all accounts ( well a certain wiki site ) he was a student for a decade and didnae even graduate ffs. He was schooled well enough ( it was allegeded ) in how to maximise the old expenses claims..............hey diddle diddle then. Acht , everyone else was at it , so why not ................aye, a man of great principle. No wonder folk sicken of politicians, he's a classic case in point......................all in my humble opinion of course.

stlucifer
No surprise. Why would they elect a grass roots labour person when they can elect a Blairite? They are attempting to climb out of an electorial pit with a limp indian rope. In effect. No ladder. Only a snake

Guest TPAFKATS
Labour have lost their heartlands in Scotland due to abandoning the socialist principles they were founded on - they now decide (via their bizarre convoluted voting system where some people have 3 votes) that the best solution to this is to elect a leader who is more of a NeoCon than many Tories. Senior member of Henry Jackson Society, warmonger, expenses fiddler, introduced welfare reforms when he was in last government cabinet, when he was head of NUS he was named in parliament for his undemocratic shenanigans. Armando Ianucci couldn't make this shite up...
Tommy
I have spent time in Neil Findley company due to him being labour shadow health minster and supporting my wife health issues. I will say he is a real decent guy and I was hoping he get the vote, but at the same time I hope he will continue to be shadow health minster so to continue to support my wife issues. The issue is about MESH that had been implanted into women that the Sunday Mail have been running stories about it for the last year. Guest TPAFKATS
Everything Murphy says is a lie, however our media don't question him on it. For example last night he was on the late night news telling us labour had about 20000 members in Scotland. Last weekend the party put the figure at 14000 which was probably an exaggeration. He says he'll rewrite clause 4 and do things his way without interference from London. The constitution of Labour party won't allow that without the national exec, i.e. London voting to approve. He also said they wouldn't lose any seats to Snp in May...
oaksoft
Just trying to wade through the dummies bud... they have already been spat by the 37%. 37% FFS bud this is childish pish and you know it. You can't sneer at SNP spin doctors and then engage in it yourself. If you want credibility in your argument you have to start using it. oaksoft
To be fair to me, I invented "Pretendypence", so it can hardly be hackneyed and overused. f**k sake I wouldnt' gp boasting about that. It's a pretty shite phrase. "Pretendypendence" would have been better but it still doesn't make sense. Blowing smoke up your own arse isn't cool.
