SuperSaints 12
Hearing a number of saints fans mentioning his name. Would he be a decent replacement for Tommy Craig ?? Struggled as Dundee manager in the SPL but to be honest, he was preparing a squad for the first division before Sevco went down and couldnt bring enough premiership level players in at the time. Thoughts ??
TopCat
If TC resigns/gets sacked he won't be approached or even considered. Just like everyone who isn't currently employed at the football club.

oaksoft
Did you miss out when I said replacement ;) Yes. Nobody who has any power over this is listening to you or anyone else though so the entire question is moot. Tommy doesn't appear to be going anywhere. How many threads will it take before fans realise that? We're at 6 threads now? Have a wee look at what the players are tweeting on our front page. It's pretty clear that few of them are being affected by either the results or the abuse from fans. The entire Rangers support can't shift McCoist after three years of them bleating. What makes anyone on here think Saints will be more accommodating? Honestly you'd have thought we'd learnt our lesson after we bleated to get rid of Danny. Bet most of the sheep wish he was still here. Edited December 4, 2014 by oaksoft

Bet most of the sheep wish he was still here. You really do sound like a guy who gets upset any time the public address system at work announces anything. What is it with this incessant need to try telling people to close the page, log off, step away from the PC and just deal with it? This is a forum, that's where discussions happen. Did you used to go round the Wee Barrel saying "f**k sake mate, they're having that discussion over at the table near the door"?

insaintee
Smith is decent manager and a genuine nice guy. A bit like Danny, His failure at Dundee was due to sticking with what he had and living within his budget, a bit like Danny. Would he work for Saints? I think he would up to a point, a bit like Danny.

windae cleaner
Are we at the end of the season yet? McCoist remit would be promotion every season which he did He is sitting in play off position at the moment and still in both major cup competitions We are out of both competitions early doors and in the wrong play off position Rock bottom is where we are heading with TC in charge within the next fortnight If TC sees out his remaining 18 months league 1 beckons As his record has shown he's a dreadful manager
FS
I'd sooner see Barry Smith at St Mirren than 'show me the money' McCoist. How that fanny can justify the fat salary he's on, paid by a bunch of crooks, mercenaries and fugitives, whilst asking the 'loyal' to empty their wallets year upon year is beyond me. They used to call the RFC job 'cheque book management', looks like it's about to become Provident Cheque book management.

When was the last time we saw a top flight team play this badly and NOT have a recovery of some sort during the season? I ask because you seem to have persuaded yourself that we'll simply continue to lose every single week for the next 6 months. If you read it right and even mentioned the end of the following season target as well He's a rotten manager and maybe not every week but certainly most weeks we will lose

stripey
Would not be adverse to us bringing in Owen Coyle as manager rather than Barry Smith and make some money available to him to bring in some new players, but to be realistic it won't happen as we as a club are skint.
