Edinbuddie
Raman Bhardwaj@STVRaman7 mins7 minutes ago Hamilton Accies set to re-sign Nigel Hasselbaink. Looks like it'll be an 18 month contract. #accies Good player, poor attitude, legend in his own mind.

Vambo57
Was a great player for us. Always enjoyed watching him play and cause havoc to defences. Sorely missed and would have him back in a minute.

Ayrshire Saints
Nostalgia is rarely based on accuracy. Unless he's developed a better end product since he left us then he would be no use whatsoever. There is absolutely no use in skinning 3 players and then crossing out the park or shooting high and wide. He dragged defenders out of position left right and centre and there wasn't always a lack of end product. Better than any forward we have on our books right now. BuddieinEK
Looks like their new front partnership will be Jason Scotland and Nigel Hasselbaink. The ultimate Little and Large!
TopCat
Looks like their new front partnership will be Jason Scotland and Nigel Hasselbaink. The ultimate Little and Large! They released Jason Scotland last week ;) Nigel had more bad moment than good, the ultimate luxury player who'd look amazing for 2 minutes then hopeless for 88. Bud the Baker
Nigel had more bad moment than good, the ultimate luxury player who'd look amazing for 2 minutes then hopeless for 88. You could say that about many forwards, without checking records I'd say that since our return to the SP(F)L he's probably our fourth best forward in terms of goals/game behind Thommo, Higdon, & Sutton. Certainly comes with a bit of baggage - mainly that he's not as good as he thinks he is. In the summer of 2011 ( not last pre season but the pre season before ) - aka 2 years ago, or 1 year 10 months for the pedants - the club had a fantastic transfer window. Thompson, Teale, McGowan, Hasselbaink, Tesselaar and Carey all arrived on permanent deals. They were all a success bar one - Carey. A fantastic return without question. Goodwin arrived in January 2011, before all of them. . Edited February 6, 2015 by Bud the Baker
