Eaglesham saint Posted April 15, 2016 Report Posted April 15, 2016 (edited) I am amazed at the number of fans on here doubting the manager. FFS he came and did a rescue job, not even been in the job 6 months. I don't care where he signs players from as long as they do the job Edited April 15, 2016 by Eaglesham saint Quote
BuddieinEK Posted April 15, 2016 Report Posted April 15, 2016 They might star for Gibraltar or Scotland. But they wouldn't get a sniff at most other Countries Squads, if eligible. "Would never get a game for any other national team" you said. Jings... Turn on yer reversing bleepers dafty. ;) Quote
shull Posted April 15, 2016 Report Posted April 15, 2016 Surely they would need to get into a Squad before making the first eleven. No reversing. Decent in Scotland. Shite elsewhere. Quote
Scabby Dug Posted April 15, 2016 Report Posted April 15, 2016 His assistant is an ex Celtic fan. I wish people would get a life Quote

Lizard King Posted April 16, 2016 Report Posted April 16, 2016 (edited) Back on topic, nothing against him personally but Kelly is very average and way out his depth at St Mirren. He's a bombscare at left back and prone to shocking lapses in concentration. Time we thanked him for his efforts and waved bye bye. He should be nowhere near our squad if we have aspirations to improve. Edited April 16, 2016 by Lizard King Quote

LanarkshireBuddie Posted April 18, 2016 Report Posted April 18, 2016 Is sean Kelly injured as wasn't in squad at weekend Quote
nosferatu Posted April 18, 2016 Report Posted April 18, 2016 If he was utilised as a left back should be, ie a left sided defender who is not expected to attack, beat anyone, pass or put in a cross, then he'd be fine. He can tackle, he can defend, he can head the ball. Whenever he wins it then lump it up the pitch. Quote

He pops up with assists and goals on a relatively regular basis ever since he got in the side. If anything he's better going forward than he is defending. Quote
FTOF Posted April 18, 2016 Report Posted April 18, 2016 Heard that he's currently training with the U-20's. Quote

dave.j Posted July 6, 2016 Report Posted July 6, 2016 Sean Kelly on Trial at Firhill. Played last night against Raith Rovers and by all accounts was a stand out. Quote
Dan Is The Man Posted July 6, 2016 Report Posted July 6, 2016 That's him. Did he play centre half or left back? Seems to think of himself as a centre half, got moved into the middle at the start of last season under Murray and was atrocious. Fell out of favour under Rae. Good at getting down the wings from full back, suspect defensively but I suppose they all are these days. Quote
dave.j Posted July 6, 2016 Report Posted July 6, 2016 Played at Centre Half... " Our number 6 did shout a lot and try to get our defence moving up the field." "Trialist no 6 looked pretty good, won most challenges but isn't a massive lad." "I thought the Trialist No 6 looked good. Gotta give the lad some latitude playing with virtual strangers. Natural left sided and looked comfortable on the ball." " Agree about no.6 looked comfortable all game" Quote
