This might be controversial as I know quite a few don’t rate him but in these next 3 games I would like to see Taylor get a run out rather than Dunne

It actually makes me quite angry that the manager seemed to consider Dunne a better defender than Shaughnessy - despite the former's regular bomb scare moments/fouls last season. - not to mention his consistent vain, pretentious attempts to execute 40 yards diagonal passes a la Franz Beckenbauer, 90% of which ended up out the park or straight to the opposition.
I think Dunne's black sleeve attire is quiite appropriate in his case.

I just hope we are not going to persist with McMenamin as LWB as it not a position he plays. We signed him as a winger/forward and for us spent a bit of money on him we need to find a system that’s brings out the best in him or why buy him. He looks a player but not at LWB. Is that 3 in a row we have lost to lower league opposition in a row the scum Montrose and didn’t we play Ayr at the training ground as well

You know you get those days sometimes when you’re playing against a “wee” team and things just don’t got your way and they get a lucky break. You completely dominate them but you just cannae put the the baw in the back of the net?
Well today wasnae one of those days.
Today was one of those days when you get your arse totally felt by the wee team and they look like the better team.

Good goal by Montrose - poor defending again by St Mirren.

We are sorely missing a play-maker in midfield.
Iti's like watching a game of statues.

Looks like a useful addition to our striker options.
Time will tell if McMenamin and Nahmani will improve our cutting edge from last season.
And there is also Greive, Ayunga, Olusanya + Offord and Jamieson champing at the bit.
Could be interesting to see who become established as regular starters this season.

Well I am very disappointed Joe has gone as he was the best defender we had. Gallagher is 2 years older but I do not see any mention of him being past his best. Joe is rarely injured (unlike Gallagher) and poses a threat at set pieces as well as having the longest throw in by anyone in the squad. He is a model pro who doesn't throw toys out the pram and I would happily have let Fraser, Dunne or Gallagher go before Joe. Is he replaceable? Of course he is but still the best of what we had. Gallagher is very good when he is fit and not suspended but Joe provided the best bang for your buck.

I see Joe's off to Dundee.
Hope SR has an idea of where he can afford a better replacement.
For some mysterious reason, Joe fell behind in the pecking order for a starting place for most of the season.
