Was pretty pleased with the performance today, was a decent run out for the team. The big defender (Mads ibenfeldt) on trial had a decent game, he looks a capable defender who can put himself about and has a commanding height when in the box. Paul McMullan looked a very decent player when he came on if only for the last 15. He was quick, tricky to deal with and linked well with Agnew who came on at the same time as he did. I was actually quite impressed by how Gow played as well, he put himself out quite a bit, and his free kick was taken very well. The other trialists such as Cameron Howieson and Aaron birch looked like they had something about them but would like to see them in further friendlies to see what the are capable of. I also thought the left back on trial, Luke Conlan, looked again like a very capable left sided played. I though he looked more of a talent than the previous two mentioned, however as for the others I would like to see him in action in further games to fully see what he has got. It was overall a decent game and a good result against an Inverness team who were at full strength in preparation for their European game on Thursday.

Disappointed there are no forwards on trial.

Believe it or not, there will be a few business people who frequent our hospitality suite as a business expense without being very interested in St Mirren.
This provides work for the staff and earnings for the club. If you have the money then there are worse ways to spend it

They are home by 2pm most weekdays so have plenty of time then to spend with their families. I'm sure many of them pick their kids up from school. Plenty of ordinary punters work Sundays. Many work marathon shifts into the bargain for shite money, so I wouldn't be shedding any tears for a few pampered fitba players.
Murray is setting out his vision. Good on him. We need levels of commitment that were sorely lacking last year, so this is a good place to start.

I don't think he's really that bad a keeper to be fair.

He's the kind of signing that if we made it when we were in the top flight you'd have your head in your hands over.
We obviously aren't though, and this guy has been playing week in week out in the Championship for 3 seasons. His experience of the league will be welcome and I think he will prove to be a valuable member of the squad... If he signs that is!

Renewed 4 this morning as well.
Would be good if existing season ticket holders got a period of maybe 48 hours after the secure your seat deadline to snap up any decent seats not renewed.
Pretty limited options in terms of decent seats if you want to move digs prior to the deadline.

Hindsight's a wonderful thing, but maybe just maybe if the Bod had renewed the wee fellas contract, which in my opinion there was no question he deserved, then I don't think we would be in this unattainable position.

Struggling in the championship would be even more depressing. I would rather we remain in the top league and get an experienced manager who clears out the deadwood and has us scoring goals again, it is tragic that we are not competing with the likes of Hamilton, ICT, Kilmarnock and Partick

See that wee guy to your left..... the biggest mistake we made this season was not giving
him a new contract, yet there were so many bellends moaning like f**k to get rid of him...
How f**king stupid do you's feel now.... Danny's a legend and a utter gem of a man, and I'm
pished drunk, but WGAF....... Gilmour get on yer knees and beg him to come back.

The most comfortable win that I remember recently was our 2-0 victory against Hibs, when Goodwin was set off on the strength of that odious cúnt Kevin Thomson's pathetic squealing.
Immediately after Goodwin was wrongly sent of, I thought, "That's us fúcked". However 10 minutes later Hibs hadn't mustered even a vague attempt at an attacking move and I thought that we were very comfortable.
We cantered home in the end, because Hibs were absolutely shite.

I think 11,400 refers to the amount of fouls Lee McCulloch needs to make before a shitebag masquerading as an impartial referee actually sends the dirty cnut off.
