Clarkson didn't come on as a midfield sub last weekend

I think McGinns career will improve , and he will play in the English Premiership , but it may take two transfers for him yo get there, and I think when hibs sell him on , they will ensure sell on clauses are contained in the deal .

Disappointing to hear lots of talk banded about that only players,board etc should know about.Private conversations with individuals should be kept that way until the deals are finalised as it can be unsettling for all involved and we dont require any side issues at the moment.Its fair to say though that everybody and their granny knows that at least one player is moving on this week.I would like to wish him all the best.Great family and St Mirren through and through.

I thought Hamilton continued to profit from McCarthy and McArthur from transfer deals after they left Wigan , likewise I THINK Barnsley profited considerably from John Stones going from Everton to Man City

If they agree to sign him on a bosman, the paperwork between the player and new club is already signed and agreed.  You can't rip up the contract, but the new club need to wait until the current contract has ended before the player joins them.  The exception is where we agree a fee from County for the player to be released early.

Can't imagine Hibs wanting to give us any percentage of a future sell on from a future club. Can't imagine we put it in the deal either.

Would have no problem moving one of the yougnsters on, providing;
1) we get a fair price for them
2) we don't leave it until the last possible minute to sell
So, completely unlike the Kenny McLean deal for example.
The John McGinn one was slightly different. Although the board got hammered at the time for that, the fact we have a 33% sell on clause on him could yet prove to be the greatest legacy the outgoing board left behind.

This wouldn,t surprise me , Barnsley are in good financial shape , have sold players for good money in the past , so it would make sense for them to buy a few youngsters in the hope that one or two of them could be sold on for a profit .

Thinking we will do well today , with fitter faster players coming in , hopefully a fitter faster centre half , a fitter holding midfielder , and a faster striker , also meaning we have better quality on the bench . think I might just make the game today

I like Jack Baird as a player. He gives 100% and is still growing and developing as a footballer.
Andy Webster - He is an experienced professionaL but his legs have reached the end of their playing career however and his playing style mirrors that.

Hoping that if Baird's to go , it will be on a loan deal that will involve us getting Callum Waters
 

It'd need to include his Falkirk days and potentially even childhood days though.

I can only speak for Steven.He was well thought of and looked after in Dingwall.At his wedding in Vegas the majority of guests were ex County players and it showed me how close they were as a unit up there.A great bunch of lads including Alex Burke and Sean Higgins.The best of the bunch though was Jim Lauchlan who was an absolute gent.Jason will have no problem settling in up there and will no doubt be housed in Inverness which is hardly in the sticks.Stay out of Johnny Foxes and he will be fine.

Our stadium is awesome.  Far better than what we had previously.  Yes we all have fond memories of Love Street but it was a decaying relic of a bygone era.  I don't have to walk up an incline to get there, my seat is reasonably comfortable, I can see the entire pitch (unless a certian little runt with stupid hair chooses to stand up for no apparent reason) without any obstruction from a support beam, we have a supporters bar where we once had bugger all, we have a dedicated car park where we once had bugger all, we have undersoil heating that we cannot afford to run and  you can urinate on a wet day without getting rained upon!
 
Come on folks get a grip of yersels, the stadium is cracking it is just the product on the park that is rank!

Slightly surprised at that as he's been decent enough in the first team. We must be fairly confident of getting another left back in if we're letting him go as we've no cover there now.

Perhaps we are sending them him and letting them keep Flanagan on loan to reduce/wipe out whatever compensation they wanted for Todd.

From those brief highlights, it does look like he can pass the ball, which is a plus. Mobile too. Could be decent addition.
