100% yes. Could provide backup for Tanser and really add something going forward on the left side as well

Thanks for your advice. My rehab is going well. I’ve never travelled by public transport to a game. By the time of the match I will be around 4 weeks in and walking an average of 4,000 steps a day and carrying out physio exercises 4 times a day. I take a cushion with me and our season ticket seats are over a vomitory exit with a rail affixed in front. Normally my two 6ft 4inch sons are with me. I enter early from the car park into the west stand and leave late. The stairs have no handrails so avoid any crush there. Stewards on the gates have been great at letting me in without going through the turnstile and other fans have been marvellous in making sure I have had space. All in all - good for the body and the mind.

I think we will need to close off the gaps at the back and be competitive in the opposition half for the full match to be top 6. The better sides will punish the lapses at the back and will be both relaxed and confident coming forward if we are only a threat for 40% of the match

Its not just embarrassing ....as they are not even good plastic pitches...its dangerous.... hopefully one of them will go down...although unlikely... at least we play on a bowling green...

yes, have to agree much as goal line tech should be here, more to the point plastic pitches shouldn't, in premier grounds.

And still some "supporters" are wating on the manager to fail because they don't rate him.
Tragic.

Good win but torture watching the last 20 minutes. Can’t seem to hold on to a lead after a good start. Was impressed with McMenamin, looks a good player.

Went through my head too that it might be someone in for him. If so, he’d be a huge loss but you would think with his length of contract the fee would be sizeable by our standards.
Hopefully just a wee niggle and back next week.

Don’t know if I’m being whooshed, but you can watch the game on St. Mirren TV if you’re abroad.

Yes, I realise that, but I just felt the need to vent. In my opinion; it makes us look like a seaside league if truth be told, not only does it clearly give an unfair advantage to the home team..........unless you are Kilmarnock or Livingstone playing at t'others ground, but it causes injuries that would not happen on grass pitches, so again purely for health and safety reasons, should be banned. Apologies for ranting on, it's a bugbear of mine

it clearly says "incompetent set of administrators (being polite) we have, that run Scottish football," and more specifically defines " allow premiership football games to be played on worn-out plastic grass from B & Q." as the medium played on and the particular league concerned.. I understand and appreciate that many teams in the lower leagues need to use plastic pitches as a matter of economics and practicality and see no problem with that, I am simply concerned that we should never have allowed them in the top division.

Aye but a straightforward 3-0 every now and then would be no bad too. 🥲

I agree entirely with your views re the game and am extremely glad to see you highlight what an incompetent set of administrators (being polite) we have, that run Scottish football, and allow premiership football games to be played on worn-out plastic grass from B & Q. It truly makes us a laughing stock if teams choose not to have a grass pitch then they should be barred from entry to the premier league.
