There's certain games in the season that are defining, this was one of them.
Yes, JUST another 3 points but surely see's off Dunfermline, puts real pressure on Dundee United and we're assured of a play off spot at the very worst, although we really need to collapse to not win the league from here. 
So pleased for Baird, a young man who, while inconsistent, IMO,  can become a rock for our defence in the years to come.

Since the win at Ayr in late February we have averaged almost exactly 2 league points per game which is excellent consistency. I make it 15 wins, 6 draws and 5 defaets in those 26 league matches. An amazing 87 goals in those games with us scoring 56 and conceeding 31.  Superb stuff need to keep it going at the current rate until the end of the season.

I hear the club are looking into a one man anti Samson campaign.

Seems crazy to me that Mallan hasn't even been on their bench (one League Cup game aside). His set-piece ability alone surely makes him worth having as an option if they need a goal.
Barnsley aren't doing very well this season - maybe their manager will get sacked and Mallan will get his chance then.

The game is about 6 weeks away.
I fully understand far flung fuds make a choice and book travel so this is a major hassle, to say the least.
For the vast majority it's a minor inconvenience, curtailing the bevvy no doubt, but not the end of the world.

Didn't play well but still won. Sign of a great side and we have as good a chance as anyone of winning this league.

This season we really should be looking to get a minimum of 5,000 home fans at each home game. Please spread the word and bring a buddie to each of the next few home games. This side deserve a packed stadium behind them every week. I would love to see the club push another bring a buddie campaign. This side under Ross are going places. Lap it up buddies.

We really are going in the right direction with key players like McGennis, Davis and Gary Mac still to return.
