Nah...we don't play Kilmarnock til the 13th September, that's the 6th league game of the season. He'll have been dropped by then. Having played 90 minutes in the first game, being subbed off after an hour in the 2nd, coming off the bench after 75 in the 3rd and appearing for 5 minutes in the 4th, he should then go on to be mostly an unused sub, appearing only occasionally for 3 minutes if Killie are up by 1 going into injury time...so I don't reckon he'll have much playing time to haunt us with, unless Kilmarnock are beyond brutal...

I'd take wee Nigel back in a heart beat. Wildly inconsistent I admit, but he's exciting, as soon as he's on the ball, anything (or nothing) could happen. Having a player like him makes paying £20 a week just a little bit more acceptable...

Personally I,d rather it was the other way round

I thought Harkins would be a great signing after I saw him tear us apart at Dens shortly before the Cup Final.
We then re-signed McGowan and I couldn't see where he would fit in. That's been proven but I still think he could do a job in the midfield if McGowan wasn't there. He's the kind of guy you just need to let do his own thing.
I hope he can come back next year, if McGowan goes, and prove himself.

I had to change mine to a decline, sorry, couldn't be helped. I can try and get a mate to play in my place?

I have been a regular poster on here for years and thought id drop a line here.
My band Lemonhaze (all saints and and 2 nephews of John Hillcoat - ex saints goalie) have released our debut EP "say goodbye to felix" and it's on sale from iTunes on the link below.
We have asked Phil to play a track tomorrow at half time and also have had big thomo approve of our music when we last spoke.
We have our launch night in buff club glasgow tonight if any buddies fancy it and we've had considerable radio and need paper coverage of late so doing ok.
Yous guys may love it or hate it but as A due hard buddie and with band mates all fellow buddies I thought some of you may be interested

I'm looking forward to the game. I think there's a few non-bibs from last week, myself included, that owe a performance to whatever team they end up in!

Pretty poor night for the non bibs, I tried my best to make it up and down the park, but ran out of steam a bit towards the end. Fraser's out side of the boot effort has to be the best goal I've seen in any of the Black and White Army games, an absolute screamer.
I think there were only really 2 guys in our team who were happy to play a bit deeper, where the bibs had quite a few guys willing to sit at the back when required. Usually it works out a bit more even than that. Maybe we could try and split the more defensive players evenly the way we do with the 'keepers, might make for a more even game?

He'll have verbally agreed to a contract with Rangers ages ago, just couldn't sign until now. They had quite a few players in that position...

I rate Lee Mair highly, always liked him, was pleased when we signed him and have been happy with his performances for the club. He and Goodwin don't seem to play well together for some reason, but that's not a huge problem for me, as I would rather have Goodwin in midfield. Personally I'd have Mair and McGregor as my centre backs with Goodwin providing some much-needed grit in the centre if the park.
