I see this as one of the big flaws in Doncaster's negotiating strategy.

I agree with your view on Sevco strengthening, but Hibs don't need to overtake them in the league - just beat them in the play-offs. Whilst still the underdogs, they have more chance of doing that than finishing above them, I think.
