oaksoft
I'm surprised more players don't do this TBH after all the shit they get from the stands. I don't know how they can tolerate it week in week out. Edited January 27, 2014 by oaksoft
Lord Pityme
I sympathise with players to a certain extent. I think it's a nonsense that fans can sit and shout all sorts of obscenities about a player during a match but the moment the player makes any kind of gesture, action or smile they're all up in arms about what the player did. There Knickewetters Maxi, and there's no shortage of em' around these parts.

buddiecat
Superb! I bet if a player jumped into the West Stand all the "agro boys" would suffer from collapsed arses. I was at a Reserve Match at Love Street (may she rest in peace) and some guy had been giving the team stick all the way through the game and at the end Andy Millen jumped into the Main Stand to challenge the bloke! I'm pretty sure the "supporter" in question shat himself! he did crap himself it was ... i better not say his name, he has a squeaky voice though

Dirty Sanchez
This did happen in a game at Love Street years ago. I remember reading about it in John Byrne's 'Brief' History of St.Mirren that ran for about twenty years in the match programme.
whydowebother
I remember a fan hitting Juan Sara when he played for Dundee at Love Street when he was winding up Saints fans with something written on a t-shirt underneath his Dundee top.
