Mid Calder Saint
Is there any chance that Goodwin could get his close friend Daly to sign for us. Jon is now fit but will clearly now struggle for a start at Rangers. Jon would be a great signing and could cover at Centre Back if required. Would love to see it happen. Surely there are other more seriously injury impaired has-beens we should be looking to waste money on?
div
Decent player but I imagine the wages he is on at Ibrox will be ridiculous.
iTony
I think he's a decent player but have to think his best days may be behind him?
Mid Calder Saint
Jon is still only 31. Hardly old in this day for a footballer. Injury record had been ok apart from this one which has kept him out for the season start. Now fit and ready to go according to the media. Yeah, I know he's young in terms of his life but I got the impression - maybe I'm wrong though - that his last injury was a bad one?
insaintee
Personally I'd prefer he continue with his important task of drawing a huge wage from Sevco and hastening they're imminent demise
slapamythighs
would he have to give up playing his international golf tournies to join us,,,hmmmm,,,then again the golf outings will be more interesting......
saintargyll
No offence MCS but this has got to be a "no no" i think the strikers that we have will shine through....Ball especially... if TC can get Ball "off" the wing and into the box he will be a saints trail blazer
stripey
Would like to see it happen however I think that Ball and Caldwell need to be given more playing time and secondly I would agree with Div, his wage at Rangers is bound to be far more than we could manage
billymehmet1
Daly is on around 20k a week. Couldn't take signing on fee so had to incorporate it into his wages
Murray7
Daly is on around 20k a week. Couldn't take signing on fee so had to incorporate it into his wages I really hope that is true.
insaintee
: I really hope that is true. Think it! I remember he was supposedly on 5K at DU and people were going mental that he'd let slip that he'f have been happy on 10k I'd be happy on 10k a week Edited August 28, 2014 by insaintee

billymehmet1
I'm not sure this us entirely factual...... My uncle is a certain agents friend And he was telling me about this they didn't have the money to give him signing on fee so cane to this arrangement of around 20 k per week Also Nicky law was on 2 k at mwell went into negotiations expecting a slight increase in wage first offer was 12 k a week. These are not lies there facts hence why the mob are struggling to stay alive again. Folk don't realise the mismanagement at Ibrox
insaintee
It's not missmanagement. If you're planning on raiding a companies coffers, you need to loosen the purse strings so when people ask where the money went they can point to something other than themselves.
