Doakes
Since the game is on TV worldwide, would be a nice touch if our club played "You'll never walk alone" pre-match on Sunday, as a mark of respect and solidarity with those families who suffered 27 years of misery at the the hands of certain parts of the media & authorities. Football should be coming together on this I'm told Rangers have a big JFT96 banner, so I'm sure they would be respectful (on this occasion) Edited April 28, 2016 by Doakes
Kemp
Yep, the animals will behave for sure as we blast out a Celtic anthem on our pishy tannoy system. Next! Edited April 28, 2016 by Kemp
linwood bud
It's not a Celtic anthem, those thriving bar stewards stole it from liverpool
DougJamie
They suffered 27 years due to our corrupt Police and Courts. Yes football should make a stand, and we play our part in that. I could not care what Sevco do or don't do
Sonny
Good idea. I am all for it. Do we own the Club yet so we can steam-roller this through?
Doakes
Yep, the animals will behave for sure as we blast out a Celtic anthem on our pishy tannoy system. Next! What their fans do is irrelevant Would be a nice touch to show our respect to Liverpool by playing their anthem. I'm guessing a few clubs will pay tribute this weekend, we're a good club and we should be one of them
windae cleaner
Yep, the animals will behave for sure as we blast out a Celtic anthem on our pishy tannoy system. Next! Celtic Anthem since when Many clubs ourselves included sang this in the 70s and early 80s Again being told by certain 2 clubs what can be sung Madness
shull
As a football song, nobody owns it. We sang it many times in the 1970's. Nothing to do with Liverpool or Celtic although both sing it well and regularly.
shull
Dunno why we stopped singing YNWA. Like Sunshine on Leith, it is wonderful anthem.

faraway saint
A nice idea but won't happen. We had quite a long time to prepare for the League Cup final, most will remember how our attempt to organise holding up cards went on that occasion. faraway saint
This is different. I think it would be a nice gesture. And, again, it won't happen. You do know this is Thursday and the game is THIS Sunday? No real debate, just opinion, time will tell.
shull
We should also play the Fields of Athenry in respect of the Liverpool anthem, Fields of Anfield Road

No real debate, just opinion, time will tell. Would just be a case of getting the stadium DJ (is that the correct term?) to stick it on his playlist? Not a lot of effort. Could ask the fans to applaud it, job done.

shull
We haven't sang Molly Malone for a whole. Could get that on playlist for Sunday. One of my favourites. I would join in.

Lord Pityme
Think the sentiment of the OP is right, and it would be fitting. The irony of 'You'll Never Walk Alone" playing to the lowest home support of the season may be lost on some though.
