Noticed that but on page above it says £12. That's what I paid this afternoon.

3-5-2 is a good idea.

Who could argue with it?

Not me - but I am not a professional fotballer or manager.

Apart from not scoring, this formation late in games has seen us create chances.

Whatever the line up, hitting the bye line and getting the ball over makes every defence nervous and creates chances.

I don't even think the worst Saints team in the modern era will fail to beat a non league side at home.

You are aware you have just created a bench mark with the above ? [emoji3]
This could be set for another significant low in a special time of St mirren lows over more recent years.

Certainly the worst and most inept I've witnessed since the "vital win away to Stirling Albion "era.

Club and team are utterly without shape or control at present. Not a sign of any positive spark on or off the park. Fan ownership ? Bi f**k that looks limiting in the extreme.

When we finally bottom out, gawd only knows.

Worryingly I think we've yet to find our new level in this modern era and soulless grey morgue that is erm, home.

Anyway happy Monday all

Sorry, problem with the official website has been corrected.

We load a module that has all the usual ticket pricing in it for home games. In this case we should have hidden that and published the special pricing arrangements for the cup tie.

This has now been corrected and won't happen again!

I'm usually the first to predict a Saints win or remarkable comeback ( I'm pish at predictions generally ) but I think that Spartans will win this weekend.

Saints 1-2 Spartans

If this was the weekend playing TNS ? They'd put 4 past us - played 15 won 15 - GD+45 , hope we have won a game prior to that.

Still , here's hoping for any kind of win this week

We will win comfortably at the weekend.

We've played 7 cup matches this season and won 6 of them.

First time ever I'm really not arsed about the Scottish Cup right enough, I'd quite happily trade a humiliating exit to Spartans in return for a couple of league wins!

Ok, who exactly is bad enough apart from us that we will beat? Every game now looks impossible.

We wont win comfortably mate.......

An absolutely nonsensical post, really enough to make me weep.

But I wont ignore you. Imagine I had missed this shite above and cost myself a huge laugh.

How the f**k do you trade a Cup match  for League success?

They aren't played on the same day. They are played a week apart.

The Cups have brought most of us our greatest glories and Mr Super Dooper Fan would rather our Club was humiliated by Spartans.

And you delete my contributions.

Anyway you have a couple of likes for your crap post.

That team finished 6th that year, 5 points clear of 9th. Back then there was only 10 teams in the top flight aswell, so we were 16th in Scotland.

The current team is 22nd in Scotland, 14 points behind 6th place in the second tier and 18 points off being the the 16th best team in Scotland.

The current team is simply far worse than the Forthbank lot however you cut the cake.

 Fix the Team???

He wants our St Mirren to get humped and humiliated by a Lowland League side.

Most of us would hope and desire our Club to win every match.

Yes we will, we will beat Spartans easily.

They are a non-league side. I'd expect us to win by at least 2-3 goals on Saturday.

Absolutely no chance they will beat us.

Winning is what this game is about.

Doesn't matter by how many.

Just win and move into the next round.

Then - Still in 2 Cups.

Priority is of course the league but getting some money in through a cup run would be very useful.

And potentially of interest to possible signings.

Priority is trying to win every Match we play in - Leagues & Cups

No need to choose one or the other.

Cup Runs are shit unless we win a Trophy and embrace an Open Top Bus.

Absolutely heartbreaking to lose in a Final, Semi Final, Quarter Final or any other f*cking Round previously.

We pay Money to watch our Team in every competitive Match.

100% effort to try and win every one please.

Nothing less

What you on about ?

I want us play in a Cup and try and win all matches, meaning we win the Final.

Losing a Cup Match in any Round does not make a good Cup Run.

Only winning the Trophy is success.

Hope you enjoyed Hampden 2010, Gretna 2006, etc

Only way to do that is of course to win every game.

Yes - losing in the Semi or Final hurts.

But I would take that hurt anytime as it means we are close to success.

Wouldn't you?

Oh - and the cash that is brought into the club.
