Teale's stout defence of our players and pointed questioning of decisions seems to have galvanised the team spirit. A means to an end that seems to have worked,so it looks like he has probably just taken one for the team.

I know of a lot more who have stopped going cause we haven't won at home all season. Perhaps if we won a few matches it would cut down the moaning and increase the attendances.

My son wrote that article. We have seen Kieran play loads of times as he progressed through the ranks and out of all the players that have been released he is the one we are most gutted about.
It isn't just his ability but it is his hard work and attitude that set him apart in my opinion. Hopefully he will be given the opportunity by Teale to progress further and get the regular first team action that he has been craving.
Sadly youngsters aren't getting a look in for the West Ham first team and that has a lot to do with the attitude of the manager who is not one for trying new things, he is safety first... and safety second, so don't take the fact that Kieran didn't make the first team as a negative. He trained with them regularly and they were all surprised that he was allowed to leave.
Another massive positive (I'm sure you'll agree) is that his moving to St Mirren is that you now have two new followers in my son and we hope to come up and see his home debut against ICT where we hope to see him prove us right and Fat Sam wrong.

There is no restriction on cross-border loans under SFA rules, enabling Rangers to bring in the quintet in one deadline-day swoop.

Although the bulk move raises fresh questions about Newcastle owner Mike Ashley and his interest in Rangers, where he has an 8.9 per cent stake in the club.

HMRC never approve Tax Avoidance schemes, there is a difference between using tax relief to make sure you don't pay more tax than you have to and bending the rules to avoid paying tax

He was advised that it was a perfectly legal scheme, if it's found not to be then he'll need to pay it back. Is it such a big deal?
I drive a commercial vehicle instead of a company car, I do this as it's tax beneficial. Until someone from HMRC tells me I can't do this I will continue to do so.
Wonder how many homers some of the moaners have this weekend...?

Gilmour isn't remotely interested in what you, me, or any other St Mirren supporter thinks unless we were to roll up at the front doors of St Mirren Park with a duffel bag full of crisp bank notes of large denomination.
They can't get out the door quickly enough, and communication with the club's support would be a mere distraction.

Perhaps Mr Gilmour would care to contribute to our debate.I know that I an totally fed up with the non action from St Mirren Park. Our instant requirements are the appointment of an experienced Manager along with minimum three experienced players. The apathy surrounding my beloved Football Club is sickening.

Bobby, the SPFL are in full control of match footage for 'compliance' purposes. They hand out the coverage contracts, they handle the footage and it's distribution amongst the broadcasters. I can assure you they do not watch Sportscene or invite it's presenters or production team to any discussions regarding refereeing decisions. The problem with using so called tv evidence in this set up, is that there are invariably not enough cameras at non live broadcasts, normally a maximum of two. And as I keep saying, normally operated by news shooters who wouldnae know a fitba if it hit them square on the jaw whilst perched in the six yard box. Normally they're fighting amongst themselves to be in the position nearest the pie stand, lavvy or exit...

I sat in the stand today and listened to some of the abuse hurled at John McGinn. Not disputing the fact that he had possibly his worst game in the stripes but the service he has given this club is nothing short of exceptional. It reminds me of the time kenny McLean went through a spell when he wasn't playing as well as he can and he got terrorised. Us as supporters need to rally round these youngsters in times like this, because mallan will hit this point at some stage of his St mirren career. Keep the faith!

I like Kelly, can seem a bit lackadaisical at times but he is a good young player. I would love to stay up and keep this young team together with the right management team. I love that we have guys who have been playing together for years breaking into the first team together.

Changed times indeed when I say how disappointed I am that we only got a point tonight against a team vying for the League title! The difference between now and 7 games ago is night and day. Teale has a formation that works well and everyone knows what they are supposed to be doing in it. Plenty of skill and fire and determination. Although Utd are the team making the transfer headlines the best 3 players tonight were in the home team with McLean, McGinn and Mallon although there were no failures in the stripes. Give Tealy the job now!

PIC 96 is the Anchor Bridge linking the Anchor Mills to Lonend. This is the bridge used by the workers to cross the Cart to get to their work with many old photographs showing the mill lassies on their way or leaving their work. Built in 1867 and B Listed. The bridge was moved about 50 meters upstream during refurbishment. Other images show that it was a lot closer to the Mill in its heyday.

For me a six pointer is what Saturday's game is. It has to be against your nearest rivals when every game is crucial. One team may gain 3 points and the other loses the opportunity to gain 3 points as they have now played a game more and lost it. One less game for them to try and catch up.

A lot of people seem to be jumping to conclusions regarding the "Argentinians".
An article full of "if's and but's" from some journalist and certain people are "losing their minds".
These guys have broken no laws or rules during their involvement with the Chilean Rangers. Yes, they have been investigated for some "not so normal" methods of football business, but like I said in a previous post, there's a big difference between being investigated and being found guilty of something.
Regarding the "community club" thing. Are you saying you will consider not supporting the club if anyone outside the Paisley area buys it? If so, I would start looking for a new club to support if I were you.

Shull, there are plenty of clubs run by non-supporters of the club they own that are working financially sound.
The consortium mentioned going by the herald have a similar view to our current board of producing our own, making full use of ralston to get a better pick of youngsters and adding in some experience through contacts in the game
I for one think its an exciting proposition and would like to see us challenge further up the league instead of constantly setting ourseleves out for a relegation battle, or worse, scrapping it out in the lower leagues.
Crowds would come back if the product on the park is delivering imo.
