There are two food vans across the road from main stand pre-match if that helps cut cost to your match day expenditure? Agree pricing may seem steep at stadium, though sub-contractors after fees a staff pay for a fast paced environment need to make profit.

Been training with Livingston for a few weeks apparently. I'd imagine they would have offered a contract by now if he was fit enough and of premier league standard.  Still. looks like they don't have to fend off any competition at the moment.

A tad unfair to judge the manager by his background. A background that includes a successful time with his previous  employers including a national trophy.
Gus came from playing football to managing his first club in such a short space of time and achieved promotion followed by survival in the premiership.
JR achieved promotion in his first full season as a manager.
Danny Lennon not only achieved survival in the premier League, he gave us our highest finished and a national cup. This from a manager who only managed previously in a lower league.

Our January window last year is evident that a clear out done the right way can be a successful one. I believe with our new recruitment policy in place since Gus' appointment, we should be in a better position to bring players in than we were last January. It's the moving players on that may prove difficult.

The damage was done pre season. The initial mess by Stubbs didnt help. You could tell early doors how bad the side was. The team that won us the league were never going to take us forward as its a different type of player required. The only thing i could agree with is that Morgan was the difference in winning the league. I actually feel sorry for Oran as the team are not capable of doing what he asks. There are very few players I would keep for the SPL from this squad. We are poor from the keeper to front. Can only hope the right players come in to save our season.

I think we must be looking closer to 10 out the door. I couldn't pick 10 myself that look obvious, maybe half of that, though if OK wants to trim his squad to 21/22, he will have to get rid of that many if he wants to bring in his own players and be left with  a squad of 21/22.

Never said we do, jut generally the way things go. Clubs similar sizes have similar strategies.
These roles do add value, whether you can see it or not.  football has moved on in the last 50 years.
nice wee bit of fishing with the Sammy comment. Looking forward to him rightly going into our HOF due to his great service to SMFC.

If i remember correctly, AH said that he wanted to push himself to earn a longer deal through performances, hence the short term. I am not sure if he was offered till end of season originally on that basis.

The only additional role created here is Gus' , which will become valuable  over time in how the club now operate with any incoming players. Nicholl is effectively filling Darren Jacksons role.

I'd push the boat out to get him till at least the end of the season.  He was a magnificent player playing at a very good level down south. I see him as a bit of a coup for us.
If he's enjoying his time with us and not using us as a shop window, lets trying and get him a little longer. Could turn out to be our Lewis Morgan this year.

How does naming all outcomes for playing in a higher league help your point here?
As long as the club continually run as a business then we’ll be fine. Made a profit last two seasons. If we don’t next year then make your point. As usual, assuming the negative.
You realise we’re in a risk business as well don’t you? Clubs ultimately need to take a certain level of risk to profit as a football club. Two seasons in a row that risk has financially paid off. Yet you still moan.
