I agree Panda,I was lucky enough to grow up around our strongest teams of the early eighties 3rd in the league and 4 semifinals an Anglo Scottish cup were great memories but it was arguably weaker teams that won us silverware in the latter years and these guys deserve to be recognised,but I would give a limb to have a Doug somner frank macdougal macavennie now though [emoji3]

Starting with tonight's game we at least have a glimmer of hope where there was none before.
It will be up to our midfield to battle for possession and create chances - something which they did not generally excel at against Livingston.
We have the opportunity tonight to come off the bottom place but other factors will come into play - ie. good fortune, refereeing decisions, injuries and tactics.
The least we supporters can do for the cause is to turn up in large numbers and get behind the team.

I'm not sure about that. I thought it was one loan from club per season, end of story. Had a quick look online but can't find the exact rule. Anyone able to confirm this?

Money will be the reason for loan deals, as in still paying wages for the Stubbs signings still under contract, plus not able to commit to a budget when we could be back down a league. You could try for short term deals, but mainly those are guys no one wants, and they would all rather sign an 18 month deal in January.

Yeah, agreed. I'd taken Morgan over Adam if we're playing Fantasy Loan Signings as we are massively lacking width.

Would be massive if we can somehow tempt Lewis back, although I reckon unlikely. I did hear that he wouldn't be going to Sunderland though. Bringing Morgan back could be a real game changer in our relegation battle.

Cammy has struggled to adapt but in fairness he was told he wasn’t good enough by his previous manager when he was every bit as integral to the team as Lewis Morgan. Goes without saying a club like St Mirren doesn’t have technically gifted players often, when we do we should be playing a system to suit them, or... we could not play him/give him limited game time and punt highballs over his head and subsequently sell him for a pitiful fee to a potential play off rival!
