Agree we were bullied out of it yesterday - any team that plays a pressing game against us seems to f*ck up our game plan and for what ever reason we dont seem to have a plan b.
Our back line tend to sit too deep and still dont think we have the right balance in midfield.
United played well but we made them look better than they are. Think we just need to realise that we are in the scrap for 8th-11th and get on with it. Important thing is to stay in they league and we as fans can play our part by supporting the team rather than shouting abuse. COYS !!

That's the thing though isn't it , there's no doubting his ability , but his consistency and attitude are questionable !

You could grumble about ther goals we lost which were poor but f*ck it lets dwell on the POSITIVES - Thommo was immense today, seemed to win every ball and it was fitting for him to get the winner. We have magical players in McGowan, Mclean and Mcginn who can make things happen - Newton was more like himself today and that augers well for the future. Defence just needs to settle a bit, Magregor made a few mistakes but I'd give him and Mair a run to establish a partnership. Dilo is brill and couldn't really be faulted for the goals.

I see a manager who knows tactics, tries to use them, but, unfortunately, the wrong tactics for any particular game. I say this often, that we don't have a team. We have good players, but playing them out of position doesn't help morale, plus the fact we don't have a fast striker like Guy, as much as he didn't do the business enough for me, but he did have speed. When Guy was here, we didn't have someone feeding him from midfield, as we expected Thomo to feed him, but Thomo, IMO, was head and heels above him as a striker. As we don't have a supplementary striker (Bahoken is too similar to Thomo to be a supplementary striker), my formation would be 3, 1,4,1,1, with Goodwin taking up the position in front of the back 3.

No point in feeling sorry for ourselves - we need to show a bit of fight and passion. Danny needs to change our defence as it aint working.
We are too.easy to beat right now so lets tighten up.

Any mob that gets pumped 7-0 by Malmo is there for the taking - play McGregor alongside McCausland and push Goodwin into the sitting midfield role, get McGinn in the team not really fussed at who's expense.

Unfortunately having been played off the park by a young energetic Thistle side and this on the back of defeats at Dingwall and QOS its only natural that there will be a "reaction" from the fans. What worries me is when are we going to get a "reaction" from the players ?

Really up for this game now. Signing of a new striker could be the boost we need. Despite the defeat midweek there were some positives - McGinn was excellent, needs to start imo. Kenny Mclean showed signs of coming back to form and Thommo is defo up for the fight.
Enough of the negativity lets get down there on Saturday and support the team ..... all eleven that pull on the black and white stripes !

The sad thing for me is that we have not built on last seasons cup success. Not sure if this is down to the BOD being reluctant to give DL cash or not however whatever way you dress it up we are once again looking like we will be scratching about at the bottom of the league. There are only so many times you can go to the well ..... interesting times ahead methinks, we need an "Isma" from somewhere. Looking back he was key
to us winning the cup.
