Cheezuz... I think I saw all of them except maybe the Associates at The Bungalow in the 80s!... sorely missed. Got shown the door at the OJ gig because Edwyn Collins couldn't sing/tallk proper and I did an excellent loud version of him between songs...

Have never seen the great man live in concert. Had good tickets to see him in Glasgow several years ago but my Mother in Law decided to depart this earth resulting in the tickets being given away the night before the apparently brilliant gig!
Really looking forward to this one.

Also saw a new Scottish film called Big Gold Dream at The Glad Cafe last night. All about the Glasgow and Edinburgh music scenes from 78/86. Centred around Postcard and Fast Product record labels. The Fire Engines, Orange Juice, Josef K, The Scars, Win, Aztec Camera, Associates etc. Very, very good. Some trailers are on youtube.

James Grant in Paisley this week, then 3 consecutive Gary Numan gigs in London(different album each night), 2 Ian Prowse/Amsterdam gigs in Glasgow and Liverpool, Texas at The Hydro(blame the wife). Might nip to Sisters Of Mercy on Monday night.

Abject shite today. The lack of heart was obvious. A keeper that wont leave his line, a left back who wont tackle and the weekly joke of a cameo from Wylde. Getting beat was expected,but doing so whilst waving white flags is unacceptable.

Today was upsetting. At 0-3 I found myself wanting the opposition to score more in the hope that the board might take notice of this shit state of affairs. This cannot continue. I plead with the board to relieve Craig of his duties.

BTW - nothing to do with me but the Chairman of Wishaw Wycombe today announced that our team has done an exclusive kit deal with Uhlsport to supply our kits for the next two years. Apparently it means all of our teams getting a free complete home team kit. There's some sort of target we have to hit in terms of numbers of bought items but it seems that sits within our current purchasing requirements.

Who are you going to see? I've to half a dozen Francis Dunnery(It Bites, Robert Plant) house gigs, always a good night. Friends have been to see the likes of Dan Reed and Boo Hewerdine. Nice to get to speak to your heroes in a relaxed atmosphere.
