Dan Is The Man got a reaction from Yardley in Welcome Mihai Popescu
Good to see something positive out of this week.
Incredible bit of business getting this guy back.

Scott questioning Oran’s commitment whilst he’s trying to run a football club from America!

Dan Is The Man got a reaction from belfast billy in Who should we be looking to sign?
Like to see us get Scott Wright on loan from Aberdeen and also Nelson from Sunderland, maybe JR could send him to us this year rather than our rivals. Liked the look of both whenever I’ve seen them over the past couple of years.

Dan Is The Man reacted to TPAFKA Jersey 2 in Welcome Anders Dreyer
I read that and I think......what a bunch of uneducated, patronising, English cunts made worse by the fact it’s coming from some pissant, no mark team who are currently “riding high” by narrowly avoiding relegation from the EPL.

Dan Is The Man reacted to aldo_j in Top Four Says Tony
It is what it is with Tony. He’ll always be our biggest cheerleader.
biggest surprise is that he went through an interview without mentioning Sir Alex, how Jack Ross reminded him of Sir Alex and how Oran reminds him of Jack.

Dan Is The Man got a reaction from MenstrieSaint in Opposition signings season 2019-20
Overrated by some distance. Only looked good because he had an incredible defence in front of him. If he was to stay he’d look average this year.

Dan Is The Man reacted to Magic Monkey in Welcome Mihai Popescu
This doesn't really relate to Popescu specifically, but the aim has got to be to make ourselves safer much, much earlier in the season so we can start to look at pre-contracts, etc. I'm not saying Halkett would have picked us over Hearts, but we've got to get ahead of ourselves a bit so that we can start this process sooner.
The nature of the Scottish game means an awful lot of players are on short contracts with their clubs - especially those at the lower end of the Prem/top end of the Champ, because none of the teams involved at that level know where they're going to be playing the following season. The playoffs are dramatic, but they completely kill off forward planning for a lot of teams.
The short-medium term aim has got to be to lift ourselves above that cluster and pick off the best players.

I’m with you. Not the best positionally and has been caught a few times. A bit of the Stelios about him...
Happy if he stays but not disappointed if he goes.

Dan Is The Man got a reaction from Kemp in Speculation Thread
Not overly fussed about Muzek, hard to say what his best position is. Positionally struggles at left back and has been caught out a couple of times and don’t think he excelled to much in the back three.

Title of this thread is disrespectful to the man who who orchestrated our great escape and preserved our top league status.
Pretty poor thread In my opinion.

Dan Is The Man reacted to Sonny in Welcome Mihai Popescu
Popescu has been outstanding. He has driven us on over the last 10 games or so. He not only defends well but he passes out of defence brilliantly and is very comfortable on the ball. His drives forward when others were static allowed spaces to open up to create openings which the midfield and strikers were failing to do.
Is he worth £350k? It is far too steep a price for us but yea if Kpekawa was transferred for £450,000 from QPR to Barnsley then Mihai is worth every penny of £350,000.

Dan Is The Man reacted to JM1 in Lewis Morgan 2018/19
Lewis Morgan when he was at us, playing full of confident was a superb player. So many times last season, teams were trying and failing to rugby tackle him to the ground. Other times they were just giving up trying to stop him as he raced past them.
Hes a brilliant player. A tough spell in a league full of 6ft3 cloggers in League One down south doesn't make him a bad player.

gstretchuk
First team captain Of course it worked out well for us but no thanks to McGinn himself..walked at end of contract with no contact with anybody from club..totally disrespectful to the club who invested in him...he could not have cared less...Jack Ross was just a mercenary not giving a feck about club either...they are no longer at Saints so couldn't care less about them although i have enjoyed Ross failure this year immensely...

Dan Is The Man reacted to Seaside Nipper in Robbie Nielson
Robbie Neilson, fair play, first thing he said was congratulations to St Mirren. No axe to grind with him at all. All he tried to do was seek out any advantage possible, be professional and use any gamesmanship possible. That's the nature of these things , it often comes from attempting to cover weaknesses. Dundee Utd will probably be a better outfit next season , tbh they were poor and we deservedly saw this play off hell through, thankfully.
As for Robbie Neulson, I think he knew after the first leg his team were clearly not a better unit than St Mirren despite the usual suspects and their school boy punditry. Second rate psychology,it's all part of the play off show. OK employed tactics too, they were more pragmatic and not so headline grabbing, OK believed in his players.
Fwiw Im glad going forward we have OK and not Robbie Neilson as Saints manager..
