It's a game of football ffsake and for the Celtic fans gathering on Sunday to draw supporting your club into the nonsense we saw and heard on Sunday, well it simply takes being a fan of your football club down a good few notches.

Seems like a massive over reaction to me and quite frankly is a hugely hypocritical action by he police, a waste also of time and resources.

Ok, whilst we are on it, I called Neil Lennon a prick today as he played to the knuckeldragging masses as his man received a red card. Does my verbal outburst infringe or offend anyone's dignity ? Maybe if a steward had decided my behaviour broke rules of behaviour I should consider myself lucky not to have been ejected of worse, cuffed.

Reflections on yesterday.................
It struck me that maybe short on numbers ( obviously ) compared to Celtic I thought the quality and level of vocal support offered to the team yesterday was frankly goosebumpgiving in its passion and honesty. Watching moments back on highlights and playback it was clear to all that St Mirren won the vocal contest at Hampden yesterday.
I think belief was transmitted cos I knew the longer the game went the more likely we were to win that, I think the fans felt that and the players certainly responded, a great supporting your team moment, growing in belief instead of standing watching it slide away.

Loving the fact my son is now convinced St Mirren are better than Celtic and can't wait for school tomorrow
Loving the tears of pride and joy, loving Higdon talking our club up, loving Murder McLeod' discomfort, loving the fact that Billy Dodd's is so passionate about St Mirren's win and in Gary Teale's sheer professional pride. Loving the fact that our new signing was so thorough in his pre match preparations on studying Celtic's right back............he had a debut to be proud of. Thommo, well simply an inspiration.
Down side, the glory hunting wife wants to make the final a family day out and her mob are of the hooped variety. Still always happy to take on converts for the cause...............

I honestly thought that my emotions would be in check today but alas no.
Casting my mind back to the last final and my dear Mother dying a few days before the game
Her funeral was due to take place the day after the final and my Brother was insistent that we go to the game.
We did go and took my Daughter and Nephew and I can honestly say that we just stared ahead for the whole game not really taking it in.
It felt like She was saying to me yesterday that this time I can enjoy the final, however we have now got to deal with my Wife being made redundant and cash being tight. That's my trip up now taking a back seat. Or so I thought.
I'm sitting reading all these posts and my wife whispers gently in my ear " you have to go, we'll be alright" and the emotion starts again.
I know that football isn't really that important but today it feels like it has allowed me to be in touch with my feelings and now I'm planning flights and time off with a sense of privilege and disbelief. Jesus I feel about 5!

RA's father set up MAXI and proved to be a very successful and shrewd operator with many clients for many years, he still naturally has massive influence. The fact that RA is not the sole lord and guvnor of MAXI has hee haw to do with the St Miren / CiC proposals............RA irrespective of his Sunday habits is of decent stock and a bit of business nous being introduced to SMFC is to be welcomed
Simply put RA issued a proposal,as did many others, however SG and DC considered the RA proposal the most prudent and in the best interest of SMFC going forward. They had its known, knocked back a £4m proposal from aherm AN Other ( loony ) , during the sale process. The fact that SG and DC are still waiting finalisation and money is their privilege , choice , whatever you want
