It's obvious the senior players have chucked it. Thommo and Goodwin haven't kicked a ball in any pre season or league games so far. When they are most needed they have failed the manager. It's a disgrace! Key players at the club are not performing due to them wishing to see the back of Danny.
Heading along to cup final and can't imagine what the atmosphere will be like.
I really do wish the player's, management and fans could all pull together and turn this round. I still want Danny to do well while manager of St Mirren.

Not for players wages, Its fans council money to help fund different projects at the club, like youth teams and the dome, they've raised money for that in the past, It wasn't a night organised to have a go at the management, That's for a another time, These are just fellow fans trying to help out the club, So I think your being a wee bit harsh on them, Im not a big Lennon we all know, But theres a time and a place and last night wasn't the time mate

Wasn't a back slapping session, it was a night out to raise much needed funds for the club, the club you support, 3k raised not a bad back slapping session

why is it hard to believe that a night which was initially proposed and the organising of which began in pre season actually went ahead - if it had been cancelled after all the time spent on it by people who volunteer their services then that would have been unbelievable, the night was always going to happen it needed a theme and the cup win was a great theme,it did not and rightly should not have been influenced by current happenings within our club.

Have a certain amount of sympathy for Goodwin.
He wasn't brought to the club as a central defender but ended up there due to our lack of other options. He's no Franco Baresi right enough but you have to think that if we had some decent alternatives at centre half, Goodwin himself would probably prefer to be back in midfield launching haymakers at Motherwell players.

The fact that I WANT him to succeed, doesn't change the fact that I don't think he has it in him to do so.
It's not enough to save his skin. It was however, a brave thing to do in the face of relentless scrutiny,

I want him to succeed. I genuinely do. As I said yesterday on here, he's a fundamentally good person and a guy who I respect 100%. I also applaud the fact that instead of hiding, like a lesser man would, he's come out and faced everyone head on.

It's amazing how stories change after being passed from reliable source to reliable source to reliable source....
I can tell you that this is 100% bull shit.
The massive rant came after the Ross County game when Danny told the players we were the better team and we played well after getting pumped 3-0.
This central defender you're talking about thought Danny should be going mad at the team instead of saying we were the better team and everyone let off a bit of frustration in the dressing room. A sports psychologist had been hired and maybe Danny had been trying to take some of his mental approach a little too far? Who knows but Danny style is not to rip into individuals.
That day the defender your talking about got on the team coach which took the players to Perth, he then travelled with Thommo back to Paisley.
The night of the QoS game there was no 'rant' in the dressing room from this central defender (no prizes for naming him by now), he kept his mouth shut and listened to what the gaffer had to say. he did not travel back on the team coach, which btw is nothing unusual. This wasn't because he was in a huff or any other reason, it was always the plan. He travelled back in my car which was arranged before the game started.
There wasn't much of a post match team talk that night as it was late, the game went to extra time and the players had over an hour and a half travelling to get home. They were told to come in first thing the next day (which wasn't planned) instead.
The dressing room isn't a happy place right now, why should it be after our start but try getting facts right before making things worse.
