Have you tried Facebook advertising, the paid adverts. You can hit the news feed to target those with the interest in St Mirren in the local area. We use it a lot for our shop and a £5 add can get you 2-3k views.

I would like Ayr as quite simply, it's the best away day in Scottish football.

Sorry don't get why anyone would not sign up due to individual fans these guys won't be on the board nether will me and you remember one fan one vote. Sign up mate we need everyone on board for this to happen. St mirren owned by fans is a no brainer .

Fully expect the level of communication to improve ten fold over the next few weeks.
The people involved also have day jobs so can't always be easy to get the required info out there.

Again my opinion and that's yours.
I support the bid as do my family and once home will sign up.

My thoughts were 'if' the target was to be achieved and the group leading the buyout had communicated it well ( which they haven't in my opinion ) then I don't believe this thread would be required.
At no point slating Div, the club , the buyout team etc.
My opinion I believe is valid.

I'm absolutely nothing to do with this bid other than being a signed up member. Nobody at SMiSA asked me to run the poll, I was just curious to know how many were undecided and how many were going to sign up but haven't yet.
I think after a week having reached a third of the target is really good going. Only thing really missing for me is more offline press coverage and a big public meeting at the stadium, advertised in the press and online.
We've now got two rooms that could take it. Have people there armed with laptops and allow fans to sign up there and then.
I'm still 100% confident that the guys will hit the target, probably needs the above plus an actual deadline date to be announced to push some of the maybes into being members.

Well the club owns it. I would hope that any successful bid would mean the club retains ownership. Any charge on any property is a risk. If we default on payments for whatever reason, the stadium is at risk.
I obviously rather that no loan was required, or if it was, it was taken out by the person or persons involved and involved security on assets which weren't the clubs.
I also think this ' rival bids waiting in the wings' rhetoric is a bit... A bit off. We have been for sale for what, 7 years. If there were people queuing up to buy us we wouldn't still be for sale.

Can I be (perhaps) the first to give credit where it is due to a former supporter and occasional customer of the club for fronting up £25 a month in support of this bid.

I know this will sound odd, but I'm only trying to help. If SMiSA need the membership numbers, as intimated earlier in the thread, then my contribution could easily be split to proved 2 members instead of 1. I'm not in the least bit interested in the "benefits" as stated and I can't see myself using any of them. My youngest son is still in full time education so he's not likely to take out his own subscription just yet. If it doesn't matter then I'll leave it as it is.
