Slarti
So you would refer Renfrew ferry as being on the Erskine side. Depends where the ferry is at the time. [emoji16]

ALBIONSAINT
First 10 minutes is comedy gold, Ben and his two acolytes don’t seem able to recognise that they are NOT in Glasgow but actually Paisley. It takes his first meeting with a local to point it out. “Here mate this is Paisley no Glasgow “ Then the trip to “Feegie “ yeah the houses are all boarded up because they are getting demolished yah tool. The Original 59er
Talking about the Abbey, interesting to compare photographs between 1927 and 1938 to see the old buildings fronting onto Gauze Street and Cotton Street then all gone by 1938. faraway saint
Ah, although this would have been before my time there were similar scenes over the years as the boilers made their way to their final destinations all over the world. A tram held up at the junction of Porterfield Road and Paisley Road to allow out a Babcock & Wilcox boiler being transported by a towing vehicle with a message boy and his bike enjoying the sight.
