Every time I see an old photo of Paisley I fantasize of walking down that street looking and listening to conversations.  What would you rather do if you had the choice, go back in time or go into the future?

lt would be intersting to see what a Saint Mirren FC game was like back then and hear the banter at the match . The people in that pic all look well dressed and l am sure that is Tom in the foreground . .

Going back a few years to Love Street I thought there was  much more humour and many more songs sung on the terraces.

What's become of him. Is he still working offshore.

Willie has been off sick for at least a year after an op on his leg.

Does anyone remember the dick of a manager who use to stand at the top of the stair with his two protectors, vetting who came in.  Didn't his name start with a "W"

There's me thinking it was wanker. :whistle

That picture of Greenlaw Avenue, other than the railings no longer present, it hasn't changed.

I suspect the railings went like many others throughout the country during the second world war.

Funnily enough I have little or no knowledge of Gallowhill House other that what I've read on Google. But it was a grand house in its time.

It would have been interesting to see it when it was this ornate.

Does anyone remember the toy shop down Cotton Street opposite the Abbey and what it was called?

A photo would be great.............. I used to spend my ill gotten gains in that shop more than any other toy shop in the town.
