Lethal89 Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 Time will tell perhaps sting with a better more stable back 4 will bring him on, along with the coaching Quote
HSS Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 He's never going to get a game unless Sammy gets injured. Quote
Lethal89 Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 Perhaps but I think Samson needs genuine competition for his place or he may well become complacent. Quote
robert128 Posted July 5, 2012 Report Posted July 5, 2012 we need a keeper, doesn't matter how old or how good, we need one and one that will take reasonably low wages Quote
St. Sid Posted July 8, 2012 Report Posted July 8, 2012 Perhaps but I think Samson needs genuine competition for his place or he may well become complacent. Sammo's a contender for a Scotland cap....can't see him dropping his form. Quote
Lethal89 Posted July 8, 2012 Report Posted July 8, 2012 Come on everyone needs a challenge. IMHO he played well last year because he knew a dip in form and the guy who was signed a number 1 keeper would step in Quote

Drew Posted July 12, 2012 Report Posted July 12, 2012 So have we signed this player? He is pictured with Samson in a gallery on the OS, and named. Usually no specific reference is made to trialists, IIRC. Quote

stevie-dee Posted July 12, 2012 Report Posted July 12, 2012 See you, you'd start a fight in an empty house. ah but see you ...you would start a fight in the mirror Quote
Lex Posted July 17, 2012 Report Posted July 17, 2012 Heard the deal has been finalised and will be announced in the next couple of days. Decent back up for Samson. Quote

pod Posted July 17, 2012 Report Posted July 17, 2012 Who's paying his wages if we're about to enter cashflow armageddon? Shull said he would sponsor him, if they get rid of the goalkeeping coach. Quote
Lex Posted July 17, 2012 Report Posted July 17, 2012 Who's paying his wages if we're about to enter cashflow armageddon? We quite literally have no other keeper at the club apart from Samson. They let 2 young keepers along with Smith go at the end of last season. I suspect he will be the last capture of the summer. Quote

Well we have Paul mathers and the 19s wont play without a keeper next season, so not exactly literally! Quote
FTOF Posted July 24, 2012 Report Posted July 24, 2012 Looks like Adam and his agent want more money than we're offering him. DL says if he hasn't accepted our deal by the end of the week then it's goodbye, and that we have other options in this area. Quote

He'd be silly to reject us, very much doubt he'd get a gig elsewhere in the SPL. Quote

Currently unemployed and never saved a ball in the SPL yet wanting more money! Offer should be withdrawn now and the other options should be followed up. Quote
St. Sid Posted July 24, 2012 Report Posted July 24, 2012 Should never have been brought to the club anyway. Quote

marrez Posted July 24, 2012 Report Posted July 24, 2012 Adam should take the gamble - it paid of for Sammy - he came knowing he would be backup, he was in the team a lot the first year and as a result was rightly installed as no.1 last year and made it his own with one of the best keepers we have had in the past 30 years. Unless you are a first team regular from another SPL club how could you expect to come in on big bucks? Quote
