Callum Gilhooley
Does anyone know : Why was the No4 from queens so eager to sprint 70 yards to shout & bawl at cheesy when he was felled on the 18 yard box in the 1st half ? They played together at queens in 2009 but the reaction seemed a bit OTT.

W6Saint
Harkins didn't replace Gowser simply cos he's shit. We've improved out of sight since Danny dropped all his summer signings. Not point going backwards now. We're still in the cup, we'll get extra income from the replay. Best player was Jim Goodwin. Immense. Harkins is shit? He has the best technical ability in the squad save Kenny McLean.
uhura
Any word on McGowan's injury? I wouldn't like to see him having to miss games.

Isabella Duke
"Technical ability"? The world record holder for keepy ups presumably has a lot of "technical ability". But he's not a professional footballer. Harkins may well have loads of technical ability. But he's shit. Jim Goodwin was immense.Quality. JJ McG
Goodwin is shite, surely our priority is to replace him with a younger cheaper version, the guy is hopeless.
BuddieinEK
Goodwin is shite, surely our priority is to replace him with a younger cheaper version, the guy is hopeless. don't agree with that either! when concentrating and focused, he does a vital job for the team and helps the younger players play. Problem today was that without Gowser, we lost our shape and drive. He then played far too deep as our midfield was being over-run. The manager failed to address that, so Goodwin was then caught between lying far too deep to help the defence and pushing forward to get within binocular view of Thomson. That then resulted in the long hopeless punt a la Millen on a bad day... when Goodwin himself was having a bad day by that time. Could have been rectified with the right changes. Danny should have had the stones too hook Reilly. He replaced McGowan but looked and played like a wee boy.McGowan gives us an outlet where if he gets the ball, 90% of the time it sticks and we can move up the park. Reilly didn't offer that. Which is what forced us back, and ruined our shape. Harkins, for all his flaws would've given us that. A queens fan at the station this evening, was saying he couldn't believe Harkins never played because he felt Harkins caused all sorts of problems for them in the league cup defeat. I suppose the fear could be, what would subbing Reilly do to his confidence? We ended up playing the type of game Queens wanted to, and didn't impose our "identity" on the game nearly enough. After a number of hard, heavy challenges on the youngsters we seemed to resort to the aimless long balls to an isolated Hawk. Expect us to be much improved for the replay.
