norrie82
I never fancied us at all today. I think we just take it and move on to Motherwell next week which is a big game again. You kinda feel tho that to be a top six team you need to go to these places and nick a point or three. Anyway I'm not too down lets get some points over Christmas. bigjerseybuddie
No one around us did well either, so pretty much as you were. Didn't have a good feeling about this game so not surprised really. We have done extremely well recently so losing today hopefully wont have upset out rhythm too much. Roll on next week
ulysses
Och well. Was always going to be a tough game. Disappointing that it came down to individual errors from usually reliable players. Onto next week.
Dare
Got what we deserved today ....... f*ck all ! Wind ruined the game but Aberdeen wanted it more than us.
Kendo
JJ the thing is had he dropped McGowan or McGinn and we lost you can imagine the fall out
faraway saint
Weather was the winner, Aberdeen were better than us for most of the match, we showed the odd bit of football and half chances but its sore to lose to individual errors, especially a keeper who was reaching "god" status a few weeks ago. It was more in hope than expectation we would equalise, second half we started reasonably but toothless. 2nd goal was game over as we could have played for another 90 minutes and still not scored. I'm afraid were not close to a top 6 team. One thing that separates them from the bottom 6 is something we don't have, a constant goal threat. Still, a point was best I was hoping for so only a point lost. Motherwell next week, usually a decent game but the sooner we get support and a different approach up front the better. faraway saint
See how the mighty has changed tune after 1 viewing. View a few more and you may come round to a few of ours thinking.... I doubt that, you talk shite, that was based on what I saw, and a reasonably balanced view. You and, no point in advertising the forum clown, just roll out doom and gloom with no basis. I hope this doesn't hurt your head too much. faraway saint
Just in case the doom merchants interpret my initial post as anything close to their "view" I think we can be the best of the bottom 6 as we stand, with a change in a few key positions we could hurt top 6 sides. Another thing, how many goals have we list from obvious individual errors? Nothing the management team can do about that, the players need to step up as points make prizes. Ps there were lots of seagulls, couldn't count them, the cnuts wouldn't stay still.

Isabella Duke
Exactly. Attitude wins games in almost all circumstances and certainly at SPL level. This obsession people have with wages is frankly weird. Yeh, is the millions of attitude that saw Manchester City & Chelsea become forces in English football. Isabella Duke
I'm afraid were not close to a top 6 team. faraway undermining the manager and the squad yet again.
Isabella Duke
just roll out doom and gloom with no basis Totally agree. There is no basis for your doom and gloom about us not being close to a top 6 side.
Isabella Duke
I said, oh god, as things stand. No you didn't. All you said was that are not close to being a top 6 side. One game and you are all doom and gloom and straight in there undermining the manager and the team.

Deary me. More doom and gloom. More undermining of the team. Undermining of the forwards and the manager's tactics. Undermining of Steven Thompson. And this from the guy who wants to replace Paul McGowan with Derek Riordan. If you can't be balanced and all you can do is be negative then its time you stayed away from the forum. Boo boy. Smeato
Yea looks like Cheesy had a real nightmare. Would argue putting Lee Mair back in the side after that, but I think Danny will give him another shot after playing well on Tuesday.
