pod
Your spot on, rather than try and get as many of our own support into the stadium and have a decent crowd behind our team we are giving extra seats to the away team so they can have more of their fans getting behind them, as you say you couldn't make it up. FFS, when was the last time we filled all three stands. Don't you think if we could we would. Why not take their money as well as the three points. It's not like we don't need it. We still took won the game at Easter Road with our vastly outnumbered fans. PS The secret is, to make more noise than them. But we're not very good at that either. Bud the Baker
You didn't like the team Lennon picked yesterday? I know who I'd prefer to pick the team. The ironic thing is that the line-up suggested is only one player away from the eleven that finished against Motherwell at a time when we were chasing the game - McGennis for Newton. It's also essentially the same formation that started against ICT, so it just adds weight to the case against Lennon that after "scratching his head" in the wake of the performance against the Fakes he's obviously turned to b&warmy for his tactics in the subsequent two games. Just like the start of the season Lennon was the last to recognize the changes that were required. fmckinn
Another massive fixture as a win for us should see us move further from the dreaded play off place and bring Hibs right into the mix
elvis
But if Ross county and Partick and us win then there is only 1 point between four teams so we could be closer to a play off place.

elvis
Because instead of being one point infront of the 11 th placed team it would only be one point seperating 5 teams right now its 4 points between 11 th and 7th.So it is then a lot tighter than it is just now between the teams making the possibility of being in the play off slightly more than they are just now in my opinion . elvis
So you dont think the fact that the points gap could be down to one point between 5 teams rather than 1 point between two makes no difference. To me that COULD make it that bit harder to avoid the play off spot .

For those who say "the league (positions) doesn't lie" You are saying that the fact it is closer to one from five rather than one from two that the odds of St. Mirren participating in the play off have increased? Hmmm................................... Interesting.

To me that COULD make it that bit harder to avoid the play off spot .It COULD make it harder for each and all of the five, as opposed to the pressure being placed solely on the two.It makes it easier for the two. JJ McG
Ryan McGivern is out due to having 6 bookings also with Paul Hanlon lout for the rest of the season Hibs have defensive problems If the manager puts out the same team that finished the game against Motherwell we'll win this game, if he try's to play centre midfield players out wide it will be a disaster and won't work, let's hope he gets it right. Gordon Urquhart
What are the commercial people at the club doing? We should be talking this game up and with a big Hibs away support, aiming for an 8K sell out.
Isle Of Bute Saint
Hibs are now offering their fans a deal to purchase tickets for the Saints game. Buy a ticket for the Saints game and you get into the Thistle game for nothing. They have already sold out the away stand and should take a few sections in the west stand.
