div
I'd be delighted to have Tony back for what would be his 5th spell at the club. Can't think of anyone with more enthusiasm and passion for the club than he does. Big shoes to fill IMO but I think he ticks a lot of the boxes for me anyway! billymehmet1
Tony is too nice a guy to be CEO. Just think how many things he's said over the years like Lennon to stay , gillies to ac Milan. I'm sure he even said tommy craig would turn it around He's always positive I think you need a ruthless streak in you to be a CEO
billymehmet1
You won't find anyone with more passion for saints than fitzy but he be better replacing Campbell Kennedy than the CEO

Also. Has fitzy not already either been declared bankrupt or lost a lot of money in business before I'm sure I read it somewhere
munoz
He's had some experience in business - did he not run a coaching school thingy and he used own a shop . Add to that , you won't get a better PR guy for the club . I'd be happy if there's any truth in this ( it's in the sun) .

I think Tony has been doing some leadership training and people development with corporate businesses and by all accounts it's inspirational stuff. With support from a decent accountant and the right back office Tony would be a brilliant CEO. Great appointment if true. As Shull says Mr St Mirren. shull
Unlike you.He is certainly more positive than me. No doubt about that. He will be perfect for St Mirren.
pozbaird
Great news. Mallan, Fitzpatrick and Goodwin in midfield gives us a good balance of youth, experience, and dig. Fourth place and the playoffs is ours. Welcome back. Got to give him squad number 4.
bigjerseybuddie
To have Fitzy as the public face for St Mirren is a great thing. This man knows how to relate to people and he is sure to attract attention to the club for all the right reasons. Crucially he understands the supporters of our great club and he will treat his role with dignity and care. Welcome home my Son, welcome home
Kemp
If he is replacing Caldwell he is not exactly a "CEO". All the big decisions are taken by the board / SG.....or not taken as the case may be. The job title before was GM, which I think is a truer reflection. For day to day running of the club, dealing with supporters, press, raising our profile etc we couldn't get a better man for the job. whydowebother
Delighted to see Tony involved with the club.I don't think there is anyone who would be more passionate about representing the club than Tony. He always ( IMO) made time for the fans and would be happy to talk about Saints. When out walking his dog in Foxbar in his playing days he stopped to chat about Saints with me and my pals and was always positive and respectful. Welcome Tony
Singapore Saint
I absolutely love Tony and he will always be a legend but come on - he's never CEO material in a million years - heart ruling the head here folks.
