FT 1-1

They just can't do it can they

In prime position today, got the goal, dominating the game. Then they shat it, retreated deeper and deeper and in the end we were well worth a draw.

To be fair to Morton the game changed on one decision. Jack Baird on a booking, tugs down Quitongo who had turned him and was through on goal. As clear a yellow card as you'll see all day, and that would have been him off the park. Just a free kick. Ooft.

Really feel for the Ton fans. As the old song goes:

' I'd rather shag a bucket with a big whole in it, than be a Morton fan for just one minute '

Paisley poetry at its finest, and so apt. They must be raging.

Overall we played poorly. Centre mid is an issue for us, we miss a real ball winner in there.

Johnny Sutton poached the goal and he will poach many more for us I'm sure. Keep him fit he will score 15-20 this season. He must start next week and every week when available.

Only positive is despite playing poorly the record remains intact.

Sutton should be ahead of Shanks and Clarkson, we have decent wide players, get the ball wide, fire in crosses for Sutton and have either shanks or Clarkson feeding on the scraps. He offered far more in 20 minutes than the other 2 combined when they were on the park.

When Quinn is fit he should be in ahead of Mallan, he was terrible again today. Even the simple passes were outwit his ability today.
