Dont know any of the few actual footballers who have responded, but it is getting the pish ripped out of it (no surprise there) by all and sundry. My son who lives daan saaf has had his mates send him screen shots of some of the applicants, and winding him up to apply himself. Stuart Dickson
Anyone who is connected with Fowler on LinkedIn able to see if there have been any responses from anyone of interest? Some journalists you are. You don't have to be linked to him to see the responses

Interesting another injury occurred at Feegie Astro That pitch should be tore up and replaced with an upgrade The amount of serious injuries accounted to that pitch is shocking

Yeah, it's Network 90. https://www.network90.com One of my clients is involved with that, and they also produce Linked-In profiles for football players http://sportcareers.co.uk/product.php?id=2 It's a growing platform for Sports Professionals. I think you better let your client know he's wasting time and money Bud...........................LPM and Stuart Dickson say it'll never work and is just silly, desperate and everyone trying it will just become a laughing stock!! whydowebother
Any chance we can stick a few players on eBay? No returns excepted. Nah , they won't accept it , we haven't had a decent 'delivery service' all season Maybe the training session should be clicking fingers ? Then they could 'Click n Collect' and offer a decent delivery Failing that , why don't we just put an advert in job centre ?I wonder how many players think 'I will just go online check LinkedIn to see who is looking for players ? Stuart Dickson
Hope they've signed up to youthfootballscotland.co.uk. You always get players on there looking for clubs
Ayrshire Saints
I say well done to Ross and Fowler, we need to explore EVERY avenue in our current predicament both on and off the pitch. As others have said what's to lose....absolutely nothing and it's costing nothing perhaps bar travel costs if we find anyone worth a trial. First bit of innovation I've seen from the club in a long time.
Paisley brazilians
Desperate times call for us to explore every avenue available.jack and James didn't have the luxury of signing new players rae did and look how that turned out I think they are realist and the chance of us in january actually signing good quality players who are knocking down the door to play for a team sitting in our position are faint so out of contract players in November/December is the best shot we got. notabuddie
The only way I can see this working is if we get a player without a club to come a train with us for a few weeks down side what will it do to the moral of the squad

I tried to send a couple of recommendations to Fowler but he's not accepting my request to link so I guess they'll just have to remain my secret

whydowebother
St Mirren shouldn't follow this example. Hamilton should. Sitting 8th in top flight & away to Inverness this week, I think they will stick to football
