FTOF
I had no intention whatsoever of attending the game. I probably won't go, but the thought of not showing my appreciation for his (and Goodwin's) contribution to the club has made me waver. If I go I think I might get a tad emotional when Sir Thommo waves goodbye.

As much as I didn't want to attend this game I'm now a bit gutted I won't see Jim and Thommos fair well.
HSS
All Buds should go to the game if they can.Forget the fact our BOD have put their love of money before the Fans love of our Club.Get down there and support your team,we can beat this mob, come 5th and give Thommo,Goodie and the rest of the players a fond farewell. We could have a minutes abuse at 25 mins to protest about gate prices.????
Mr Zo
Heading along on Sunday to what should be an emotional farewell for a true legend of our great club. Like many others have said it could be an emotional afternoon for Sir Thommohawk and Goodwin. I am sure the fans will be in good voice on Saturday and give them the send off they deserve. Dave The Buddie
Can't believe it. This is a real end of an era and the last of the cup winning heroes with Thommo & Goody set to leave. Thank you Thommo for all the memories. You truly are a Buddies legend
Dare
I'll be there, f#ck Sevco and their band of glory hunting fans. Thommo and Goody deserve a good send off ..... hope that's not literally in Goody's case !

rea
posted this elsewhere...a very special night, i have the boots to prove it. In my wildest imagination, not being from Paisley, did i every think i would ride with a football team on an open top bus with escort through a town with a Cup. It happened that day. Nigerian Panda
Would you let him take the penalty.
Nigerian Panda
Fcukin right i would l've seen him putt a golf ball from further than 18 yards .... all be it not at ibrox .... but hey ho big yin misses one .... we go on the downward spiral ... we survive thanks to AR ... the rest is history ..... think of this ...... We are drawing 0 - 0 on Sunday with a few minutes to go .... we get a penalty .... (which is very unlikely) but we do and the big yin steps up and sinks it right in the corner of the onion bag ..... fcukin ye ha!
Callum Gilhooley
It's an honour to have a player who 'wants' to play for us and its a bonus that he is a fan and cherishes his time at St Mirren. Thommo, many thanks for your contribution to St Mirren tell that to Cheesy !!
davidg
Shame I won't be there to see him off. Sad reflection of Scottish football, not being there had nothing to do with giving the south stand away to Sevco. I've simply chosen not to go to these games. I've not been in many years and I'm probably not alone. Their away fans are dreadful, some of the bile that comes from the stands is unbearable. In return, the atmosphere among the home fans is far from enjoyable, it's just not the football game experience I want to be part of and especially not for my son. Farewell Thommo and Goody, thanks for the good times. Once Cheesy's back from Iceland we'll hit the wee white ball about the field. Kendo
Sir Thommohawk will be back as St Mirren manager before we know it. :-) He made it clear in his interview that he sees his future in the media and not coaching so I would be surprised if he was to return.
