I could be wrong here but....... I don’t think Stubbs would have let the four head out the door if he didn’t have replacements lined up. If he’s got players in mind or lined up but keeping tight lipped, then I’m ok with that.

I heard the main stand is getting another level built on top of it - but that's another storey.

The OF could sell 4000 or 5000 tickets every time they come, expanding the away end makes perfect sense.
We've also sold more home season tickets than ever before, hopefully suggesting our home crowds will continue to grow.  If you look at the Morton game last season we could also have sold more tickets there if we had more options and where to house the small Morton support.
It will be a considerably better stadium if we can fill in all the corners, and if we can afford to do that now and believe we can build further revenue generating facilities such as offices as part of the development then lets go for it!  GS made his money in property so I'll trust him on this one.

Brendan Rodgers has spoken publicly for the first time about the transfer which suggests it's all done and dusted.
£2.5m - £120k = £800k for us which is a massive, massive windfall. I also believe according to the rules that we're due the same cut of any future clauses agreed upon between Celtic and Hibs if they are met, so even if there is £2m worth of clauses, we'll also get 1/3

Mm..How long does it take to sign a bit of paper? That's about as believable as Neymar's antics on the pitch...

To be fair my only surprise is Eckersley. Even if he stayed as a back up left back. Big Gaz is a good player but we really only got 2 half seasons out of him. Even Jack Ross never played McShane in the last half of the season. Ryan Flynn has given the midfield a better balance. Good steady pro tho. Stewart we never really seen a lot of him. But good luck to all 4 I'm certain good championship clubs will pick them up. And never forget these guys are Saints legends for what they've done in the last 18 months. So if they ever play against us give them a good reception. COYS.
 
 

With all the 6 footers, that will give Cammy plenty of cover to run riot.  

In my opinion it would make sense saving as much as we can to give us a good start when we buy the majority share. We have seen Gordon ask for financial help a few times now which would suggest we are going to need to do the same, that is why we should save money, Get to the amount we need to seal the deal, lock it away until then and lock away any excess until then.
For an example , the astroturf at Ralston could be in need of replacement at the same time as we take over.

Now there's a surprise............................

Last year I took my son to the football museum at Hampden and we got a taxi back into town. I got blethering to the taxi driver about football and the museum and it turned out he was Tony Connell’s brother. He was well chuffed when I told him that there was a picture of Tony Connell in the museum, which he was unaware of. He was a great guy and had good stories about his brother’s time at Third Lanark(where he was captain when they folded) and St Mirren. The chat after we arrived at our destination was longer than the journey, but we were off the meter by then (Shull). Connell was well before my time, but it was a really interesting chat with a real character.

If SMISA had a pound for every time somebody wheeled out the line "St Mirren claim to be a community club..." before they proceed to moan about something, they'd have the 600k to GS paid off by now.

The team's warm up will consist of them following the big drum down Neilston Road and Causeyside Street.

Members were told exactly where the £50K was coming from when they were asked to vote.

They voted overwhelmingly in favour.

Well that isn't true though is it? SMiSA members were polled on whether or not to lend the club £50K.
I voted on it. So did 659 others.

I was once angry about the ten grand we received for Gordon McQueen but last year I got over it.  Now I concern myself the following question
