This is the type of communication that many supporters want to receive. Just knowing that the BoD still seem to care is a big move in the right direction. Also good to see a young, popular Paisley born player issue a battle cry. Good start. Let's get behind the team tonight. COYS.

And so the fightback begins - a few Dundee United fans pointed out Ross County fielded a guy who was on the suspension list published by the SFA on Thursday.
Immediate 20 point penalty with no right of appeal please. Although they'd still probably finish against us.

Ok, so 7 points adrift, 1 win at home, not scored in 3 matches, championship is looming. My brain says we're humped, county are on a better streak than Del Boy could have ever dreamed of, well have steadied the ship, and we are going the way of the titanic. The easy option is to join the band wagon and admit defeat. This isn't delusion, merely optimism, WBA 04/05 last day survival, West Ham 06/07 won 7 of last 9 from nowhere, 1-0 v arsenal, 1-0 v United. We have to win on Tuesday, and have to win a week on Monday, there is nothing went previously to suggest this will happen, but.... I firmly believe we have to take one game at a time, and rally for Tuesday night. As I've said previously, I'm taking a mini bus from Aberdeen, 20 strong to fir park, and getting behind the team. This is the heart ruling the head, but the hope of spinning what's left of this season, is far more appealing than a 5 year rebuilding Job in the championship!! Roll on Tuesday night and COYS

Christ knows why, but I'm really looking forward to tonight's game. It's understandable that most people have us beaten before a ball is kicked, but if we approach it like a must win game and go at them at every opportunity then you never know. I would rather see us lose by a barrowload playing with passion and pride, rather than going for damage limitation and having our tummy tickled. These guys must have some professional and personal pride to show that it matters to them. In my own job I made an absolute howler of a mistake this week and I couldn't wait to get back in to address it and make sure it doesn't happen again. I didnt feel like chucking it just because I fkd up, I wanted to sort it because of my professional pride and the effect it had on others. I can't be unique in my approach to my job and I think that's what makes some of our defeats hard to take when you see young guys appearing to not give a hoot about those who really care about the club. Well, tonight's their chance.

The game might not be finished at that point.
They might sneak a goal against the run of play and make the last 10 minutes a bit worrying for us!

I vaguely remember something similar being said, probably a newspaper putting a spin on a quote from Danny.
Danny could have easily left and got tore into to BOD but being the true get he is he didn't.
I bet he is also not enjoying or gloating over the state we are in.
I hope he gets the Scotland gig permanent, he deserves it.

This is the same board of directors who would rather argue with their own fans and shareholders at an AGM in defence of a manager everybody knew was failing only for them to sack said manager a couple of games later. Shameful.
Cheap team, 2 cheap managers and an expensive season ticket.

Players out the door left, right and centre, Teale finished, Thommo unlikely to be anywhere near 100%, with the one player we have brought in sent off twice in two games. I think it is also fair to say that at least two of the forwards on our books are on borrowed time, with Reilly's contribution seemingly limited to trotting about aimlessly at half time breaks, grinning and waving to a pal in the West Bank. Erm, no permanent manager and a board wanting away who have seemingly completely lost the ability to communicate at all with a dwindling fanbase who haven't seen a solitary home win, while wearing the worst kit since the imfamous bib.
Wow, what the actual fcuk is going on?

This January has been as low a point as I can remember in recent years for St Mirren. Nothing seems to be going our way; key players injured, the soap opera that is the takeover, the inability to take chances, the inability to keep a clean sheet, the inability to win a home game and some exceedingly dodgy refereeing decisions. We are a club struggling at the moment.
I do believe that we can get ourselves out of this mess though. We've got the ability to play decent football and have been creating some great chances. A wee bit of luck could spark a turn around.
We (the supporters) can do our bit too - starting on Friday night. We need to get to Firhill in numbers and back the team.
We've got a great chance to put some pressure on Motherwell as we play first this weekend. I think if we can get in front of Motherwell we can stay there.
Forget about the Dundee game, it's gone, nothing we can do about it now. Friday night against Thistle, that's a different game all together......
    COYS!!!

The standside linesman gave Dundee a throwin.
Teale told him he was wrong and the linesman's response was,
"I couldn't see it because you (Teale) were blocking my view. Stay in your area."
I thought they were only supposed to make decisions on things they definitely saw.
Is this linesman saying "I'm giving a decision against you because you were blocking my view" ?

If we have another dubious sending off in the next 2 or 3 games and we are behind at the time I would fully support Gary Teale if he brought the rest of the team off the park and surrendered the match to highlight our grievances with the way things are going in crunch games against other bottom 6 games. 4 red cards, 2 goals not awarded, 3 or 4 penalty shouts turned down, 2 crazy penalty decisions given against us, and only 1 daft penalty given for us in the last 4 games against bottom 6 teams.
Today we committed 9 fouls in 90 minutes and had 3 bookings while Celtic committed 23 fouls and had the same number of bookings. Arquin and Naismith were both booked for their first fouls in the game.

Who'd have believed just 2 years ago that we'd have sacked our Cup winning manager, replaced him with his doddery old assistant, sacked him and would sit managerless 5 weeks on from that half way through a desperately needed transfer window while Hamilton Accies would be 28 points in front of us weighing up 70 applications including a former World Cup Winner.
